The boy gets his braces off next month and E's pool party is planned- 2:00 pm on the 9th of February- you are ALL invited!

here, but I wanna be in bed. yawn  I would not have frowned upon a snow day today. But where I live we got very little. It sounds like Sandy got hit hard with snow if the news was correct. There was also a building that burned down in her city I think?

Good morning everyone, it is -8 right now and we have 8 or so inches of snow. I shoulda stayed home where I had a nice warm bed!

Man its cold. I got the little bit of snow pushed off and my eyes are watering and lungs hurting because its so darn cold.

Morning all!  Woo is correct, we got quite a bit of snow........enough to close all the schools so I have another snow day today!!  There was a fire last night too.....a hardware store burned down.  They haven't said what caused it, but at least no one was hurt.

I was out clearing the driveway and only got half of it done.  Something happened to the snow blower.......snow won't come out of the chute, and I found a part from the blower lying in the snow. cry  My husband won't be happy when he gets home from work this evening.  We have another blower, but I have no idea how to use the thing.  It has a transmission on it and you have to shift it.  I don't even know how to start it so I think I'll let him finish the job when he gets home. 

At least it's a little warmer here than it has been.  Right now it's 19.  We're having a heatwave.  smile

Good morning! It's a balmy 11 degrees in Milwaukee today. My car looked like a snowball with red underpinnings this morning...we got about 10 inches of snow.
 Fortunately, it was so cold that it was the fluffy stuff and not the wet, heavy stuff that normally plagues my existence. I had a good day yesterday and got some sleep so I feel pretty good. smile

Hey everyone! It is currently 3.15am wednesday morning and i have a case of insomnia! There also is a blackout here so i am sitting in the dark playing with my phone! It has just saved me from boredom! Hope you are all well! Oh and by the way IM GETTING MY CAST OFF ON FRIDAY!!! Woo hoo!! And i have to fly to cairns to get it off...YAY! I cannot wait to hit the food joints after! What will i have i wonder..Chinese, Indian, sushi? Im gonna be in flavour country for one day! Ahhh..heaven! I miss variety! I also miss all of you!

well once again our weather people were wrong! All our snow was supposed to be done by noon. But it is still snowing and at times you can't see! I believe my company is talking about possibly having our community crews come back early.

Hey, yesterday was Blue Monday. That would make sense, I'm starting to get cabin fever, and that I don't have a car makes it worse.
