Hi all! Another day at home recovering from the car accident. cry

The doc wants me to take vicodin for the pain but I don't think I will because it makes me high, dizzy, or passed out. Not my idea of a good time!

One of my cats is very dissatisfied with the arrangement - me being home all the time means I'm in her way during her nap rotations. This morning I awoke to Bella standing on my chest staring at me. A little while ago when I was laying on the couch she decided to put her paws on my forehead and sniff my face. I guess I better shape up before she gets REALLY mad.

Ugh, sorry, you're still hurting.

I know what you mean though. When I had my surgery, they had me on Morphine and kept telling me to push the button to get more. I couldn't get them to understand that I could deal with the pain, it was the Morphine that was screwing with me. Finally, after begging them to take the Morphine away, I felt much better.

Hope you've all had a good Thursday.

My corner of the world is being battered by wind and snow is driving it's way down here.

We have a major air sea rescue ongoing off our coast with respect to a listing freight ferry - with army and Navy helicopters, our lifeboats (all staffed by unpaid volunteers) are on scene and my local airport is the nearest one so is quite busy tonight as the chopppers are bringing the ferry passengers and some crew here, and refuelling here too.

I bought myself a scanner a while back on eBay, so that I could listen to aeroplanes and stuff like this... A bit voyeuristic some may say but I am just totally in awe of these guys cos they're putting their lives on the line too.
