Lunch, Weather, Favorite John Hughes Movie

I'm having a Mandarin Chicken salad from Wendy's, but I'm skipping all the add-ons they include like ramon noodles, roasted almonds and their dressing because that's all so fatty.  Instead I'm just putting on some Craft Zesty Italian fat-free dressing.

It's 30 degrees with flurries outside.  Quite comfortable actually.

My favorite is without a doubt The Breakfast Club.  I think that was the perfect 80's movie.

Cottage cheese & banana
Crappy freezing rain weather
I of course love "The Breakfast Club", "Sixteen Candles" and "Ferris..." I actually haven't seen a lot of the classics on that list. Shocking, I know.

I'm getting a haircut for lunch, so I'll probably just grab a free cookie off of their tray on the way back to the office, It's 30ish. And I really liked Reach the Rock, it wasn't your typical Hughes film (JD I think you'd like this one) and Class reunion was a good one too. Melvert help make punch, Melvert Pee Red!

You guys were the only ones I'd ever heard use the terms "sammie" or "sammich" when discussing sandwiches. Until recently - there is a new commercial out for Quiznos or something, in which they actually call them sammies or something.

Hm, but I wonder how much sugar the roasted almonds have?

Lunch is BBQ pulled chicken, mashed potatoes, and crappy brussel sprouts. Normally I like brussel sprouts, but these were cooked in balsamic vinegar, and that's all they taste like. I'd rather just have them in butter. The taters aren't very good either, for that matter.

I opted for the veggie stew instead. I feel bad tho- someone made a big vat of vennison (sic?) soup and it looks virtually untouched. people still afraid of that deer disease maybe?confused

Lunch: so far, just coffee..we'll see what I feel like eating...
Weather: on and off snow, same old WI winter stuff bleh
Fave JH movie: wow, it's kind of a 3-way tie. The Breakfast Club and Pretty in Pink are big favorites of mine, but Christmas Vacation just slays me everytime I watch it!
