Sheesh! Has anyone up there checked to make sure someone in Canada didn't forget to turn their giant snowblower off?
No Weird Newz today. Between not having the program to record it, and not having electricity last night to download any sort of program, it didn't get done. But G-Gal wrote up some great stories that I'll use next week.
It's strange how you tend to not trust clocks when you've spent a night without power.
I'm doing better today. Temp right now is 98.8 - Yay! Still a little weak and my throat is really sore, but over all, feeling MUCH better. I may even be able to get some work done today.

Yay! Glad to hear that fever is down and you're feeling better!
very light snow on the way into town this morning. although we're not getting the weather some of y'all are getting, i've been thinking that Arizona is sounding very appealing...
smiles everyone! smiles!

You should fear anything that can bleed for seven days without dying... (as told to Mr. DS on 3-12-10)
we picked up his breathing machine last night but the insurance hasn't approved it yet. Our insurance person at work which is also my supervisor said that there should not be any copay for it. We went to the pharmacy to fill the machine's medicine, the old inhaler and the new inhaler only at this time. The new inhaler is not covered. It is a drug that they make you jump through hoops to get. You need to have tried all the other medicines prior to this. So a lot of paperwork for the doctor. Luckily this is what the dr gave him a sample of and it should last him until his follow up appointment where they can address it. So we only spent about $40 on those so far. The other scripts are refills and not needed yet. If this treatment doesn't work then the doctor is sending him to a pulmonary specialist. If it gets cleared up then he is off to go do a sleep test to check for sleep apnea.
He did a breathing treatment last night and the side effects kept him awake most of the night. Mostly dry mouth. Then today he forgot to take his new inhaler. He says he feels ok though.

i stayed home from work today because all day yesterday and all night and all morning they kept on saying "20 inches of snow!!" schools closed, non-essential city workers stay home, etc. but I look outside and it looks positively calm. I guess the roads are kinda bad, but they certainly looked plowed. nothin looks all that bad. yet. I think we got duped by meteorology. ah well....

G'afternoon all! I had a district wide staff meeting this morning, then at 11:00 they decided to close down the schools because the road conditions are getting so bad, so I'm home now. National weather service says 15 inches of snow for us by later tonight and I'd say that's a real good possibility from the way it's coming down right now.
I hope the members of the forum that live in states affected by the tornadoes last night are all ok!! Everyone that's on the snow-side of thisstorm by careful driving.....it's getting nasty out there.
