Well we decided that work would be open today. The main roads are pretty good. As long as people don't race and take their time things should be good. Of course there are a bunch of staff calling in saying that they are not coming because everything else is closed. The problem with that is that all those things closed last night about 6pm. They had no idea what today would bring. We thought last night we would have to close too, but it's not that bad really. At home we got almost a foot of snow. Some other areas got 17inches of snow! My work area is south of home so not as much snow.

oh we had one staff call in because she was to shaken up from getting stuck on her route last night. She got home about 6pm last night. That is just lame. We went to rescue her last night but she freed herself before we even got there. Hmmm how traumatic.

I'm feeling even better today but staying home one more day. I've got a bunch of computer work to do. I'm going to stay home and work on that where its warmer and more comfortable.

Morning everyone.  I woke up early this morning and went outside to take some pictures of all the snow we got.  I tried to post them earlier, but for some reason, it kept doubling up the pics.....2 of each every time...so I decided not to bother with it.  Anyway, I'm looking at a 4 foot snowdrift all the way down my driveway this morning that I'm gonna have to clear out.  My husband parked his truck near the driveway approach last night so he would be able to get out for work today.  I won't be going anywhere until the snowdrift is cleared away.  Doesn't really matter anyway because the plows haven't been down any of the streets yet. I'm glad I didn't have to get out and go to work today!!  There are advantages sometimes to working for the schools.
