TGIF!!!!! This has been a really long week! I can't even really sleep in tomorrow. Our work is doing a Chinese Auction fundraiser tomorrow at 1pm. We sometimes just assist other companies, but I didn't learn until last night that the event was actually for us- lol
The things being offered are put together in themed baskets except for a few larger items. It would be nice to win something. But I am sure there will be bigger competition then when we do this auction at our family reunion-lol

It sounds like that should still be fun Woo.

My boss is out today, but I've already got 2 messages from her, so I don't know if I'll get anything extra done or not.

Then tonight is the beginning of Startup Weekend. It's this event where a bunch of people (100 in this case) get together to start a company in a weekend. It'll be intense, but should be fun.

I'm home again today.  Schools here are still closed.....none of the secondary roads have been plowed yet, so the buses can't get down them to pick up the kids. 

Tomorrow we're going out to my brother's and do some snowmobiling...he lives on 20 acres of property so it should be fun.  biggrin

Howdy Folks,

I'm at the office today. Still coughing and hacking around, but feeling better every day.

Its 28 now with an expected high of 42. Spring will begin trying to push its way in in a few weeks.

I got one of the new computers up and running last night. I don't have audio at the front audio jacks, I must have that plugged in the wrong place. Other than that, everything seems to be running good and its just a matter of finishing up with the software installation. One nice thing about building the system myself, I don't have all the manufacturer's trial and junky software stuff to deal with.

 Yes, I do Woo.  But the city schools are closed again today too, and I'm thinking those are closed because of the kids that have to walk to school.  Our side streets here in the city haven't been plowed either and some people haven't cleared their sidewalks yet.

I think we have one more snow day left before we have to start making them up in June.  In a way, that's ok with me because the roads are much better in June!hmm

Good Morning everyone, I love binezz (disclosure: taken from the urban dictionary) casual Fridays, no tie around my neck today!!! It's supposed to be in the mid 40's here today too. Saturday they are having this huge indoor garage sale at our civic center I told my folks I would go with them. Last year we spent nearly 3 hours in there.

The trick to taking pictures at night while it's snowing is not to use a flash.  I relied on the street light in front of my house and the lights across the street at the school to provide enough lighting.  I did take a few with a flash when the snow was coming down at a rate of 3 inches an hour.......those look like what you'd see when you're driving at night and it's snowing hard.  Kind of like a Twilight Zone effect, but I don't think I posted any of those. 

For some of the daytime shots, I opened a window and pushed the screen up out of the way......that's how I got the clumps of snow on the bushes in the foreground on some of those.  smile
