Well, the kids have gone to their dad's so Mark and I found a country pub in the middle of nowhere

I had
Garlic Mushrooms with Garlic bread
then
Beef Bourgignon
then
Sticky toffee pudding with ice cream...


and a whole pint of cider!!! biggrin.gif

We had steaks in the broiler (too dang cold to grill 'em today), cheesy potatoes, and a tossed salad.  I really wanted the steaks grilled but I couldn't convince my husband to go out and grill.  cry

Does anyone remember the Sesame Street where Ernie and Bert are having pizza and grape juice? When I was a kid I always had to have grape juice with my pizza after seeing that.
