Is there any possibility of haveing a Live chatroom installed as well? I don't know exactly how these kind of things work, or what kind of costs are involved, or if there are the computer resources to do it, but I think it would be an excellent addition to the Freeze-frame community...
instead of having to throw a post up each time you want to let someone know something, you could catch em in a chat, It'd make talking to the Hosts more personal, with immediate responses, you can actually have a conversation, (Let em know their mike's not on or start a zing fight ) live.
Now I don't know if the community is big enough yet to really warrent a chat room, but it might make it easier to bring in those anonymous folks and register them...FOR FREE.... to the boards...

It's wierd, I was just thinking about a chat room the other day. I was staying away from it for a couple of reasons, but sometimes running the station and the site feels like you're playing the "sims", I was wondering when one of the sims would ask for a chat room :)
I think with only 7 or 8 truly active members a chat room would not be very useful.
Personally I like the forum because it is an ongoing record of the discussion, which allows people to catch up and join in at any time. I also have great flexibility in my ability to ban people from the forum, which hasn't been an issue yet, but there's a listener right now who is causing some problems and if they decided to try and invade the forum I'm equipped to deal with them. A chat room usually has fewer protections like that, atleast a FREE chat room.
HOWEVER, I leave this TOTALLY up to you guys, if you would like a chat-room added to the site I will be happy to do it.

Mo I agree I think a chat room would be good. I still like the forum because its the one thing I can have at work without penalty. The chat tho would be interesting.
Hey Jeremy what about a Trial run? see if many people take advantage of it and if it goes off the ground then we keep it and if not then we drop it?
