Here! So very happy it's Friday! Well my husband had to run out last minute to get me a card. He thought because he didn't see me make the card that I didn't have one for him. So he felt bad and ran to get me one. He came back with the card, scratch off tickets and the biggest Kit Kat I have ever seen.

Good morning, I think today is the day I go nuts, they are breaking the ground loose right outside our building with earth movers. As we speak my monitor is vibrating up and down and the annoying big engine noise is horrible. It has that same annoying quality of someone driving by your house with a loud booming stereo where you can't make out any words and all you hear is boom boom boom rat a tat tat boom boom boom.

Good morning everyone! Glad it's Friday...I'm looking forward to the weekend. Although, it looks like weather can make it challenging again. hmm

There's supposed to be snow, sleet and freezing rain late Saturday night followed by a winter storm watch Sunday - they predicted a good foot of snow. Honestly, I'm beginning to feel like I'm trying to maintain a social life in the frozen tundra.

Hey Mz, did you try those swimmer's ear drops or using olive oil? Maybe that would help.

So glad it is Friday. It's not been a good week...
We've changed some of our security at work and we're all hacked off and fed up....
Martha announced she has "lost" her clarinet and has been falling out with her "best" friend - like kids do...

Happy Friday all. I've got my work day in already and am now at home. What a week it's been!

G-gal, I know what you mean about trying to have a social life in the frozen tundra. I heard the other day we've received 72 inches of snow already this winter, making it the most snow we've had since 1969. They're calling for freezing rain for us on Sunday. Joy, joy!! hmm

It's a good thing I stocked up on games, books and movies this year. They've come in handy for entertaining myself while I'm hybernating. That weather sounds wicked Ghost!

Not as bad as what you're in for though. I just hope if it starts icing up here, that we get it late enough Sunday night to close the schools down on Monday. Most of our streets are still covered in packed down snow from last week's big snowstorm. Freezing rain on top of that will make driving a nightmare.

I'm running out of things to keep myself occupied this winter. I've read all the books I had, played board games till I'm bored with 'em, and am beginning to suffer a severe case of cabin fever. My husband asked if I wanted to go to the cabin this weekend. I said for what?, all we'll do up there is plow out the drive, then sit around and look at more snow. Now if he would have suggested some place warm and snow-free, I'd already be packed!! biggrin

The nice thing about our firm is if we have to close due to inclament weather we pay our hourly employees anyway. That's probably why we have only closed 1 day in the 5 years I've been here.

That's funny. We have a "newsletter" for the neighborhood, this guy writes a complaint... some folks think it's okay to mow their lawns before 9:30 am. That's wrong! I don't mow until at least 10:30 am. (el pain in debutt) evileye

I thought about that, but the warm water didn't work this morning. I have some ear drops that I'm going to put in when I feel like either laying down or holding my head to the side for a while.

I had that around Thanksgiving for about two weeks, then one morning I woke up and was just fine. I faintly remember a horrible taste in the middle of the night. The thing that used to help when I was a kid was to turn my head and jump up and down with my mouth opening and closing. I know it sounds weird but it worked.
