Morning / Afternoon all.

Hello all! Wow that looks a lot chipper than I feel. Lately it doesn't matter how well I (or my husband) sleeps we are still draggin' the next day. I think it's just Winter. I can't, but I am feeling the need to go on vacation. So that's why I think it's just winter getting me.

freezing rain and sleet tonight, tomorrow and maybe friday--yuck! i was really looking forward to the lunar eclipse tonight, but it will probably be too cloudy -- shoot!

safety orientation for the mason support today. job officially begins monday. therefore, my playtime will be severely limited. but i'll be lurking...

We currently have no temperature. A total of 0 degrees . . . expecting a high of 20 . . . stupid winter.

The Space Shuttle is coming home today. I wonder if I'll hear the sonic boom that we sometimes get as it comes in?

About 9:00pm our time, the lunar eclipse is supposed to happen. Hopefully it will be clear enough that the boy can see it.

Later tonight, our government is supposed to try to shoot down a failed spy satellite. The real question is why are they doing that? We've had bigger things fall to earth that they were not worried about (Sky Lab). So, are they afraid some of it might survive reentry and be found by the wrong people, or are they just wanting to use it for spy satellite target practice to see if they can do it?

It was over a billion dollars to put the thing up there and now its over another million to shoot it down. They said it didn't work very long before going dead after it was put up there.

Today is our local "Farm and Home Show". Mrs Web had to go help set up the bank booth last night, she has to work it for a few hours today, and then help take the booth down this evening. She's not looking forward to today.

I bought a booth one year in that show for my woodworking business. I had multiple people come into my booth acting all interested. They would look around a little bit and then get a confused look on their face and say "So, what are you giving away?" I'd reply "Just my business card, want one?" to which they would just say no thanks and walk away. Thats the mentality we have around here.

Web, we've got a similar show coming up they just call the Business Expo. There's been debate around here about whether or not we should go, but it's the same thing, it's just somewhere that people go around getting freebies.
