Good day all.

I'm munching on a pb&j and a glass of milk, getting ready to go to work at the tax office. I'm guessing it's going to be rather boring today; I'm not looking forward to it.

The 80's party was okay. (I'll post pics later.) I didn't know anyone. There were a few people that were really nice, but there was this big group that all knew each other and didn't really care to hang around anyone else. A lot of people dressed the same, and most of the guys didn't even try. But I stuck around for a couple hours, dancing along with the people who were nice. But when that group dissipated, I decided it was time to go.

Happy Saturday.

I just got back from picking up the food. This is our first month in a kind of food co-op thing.

Basically, its a group of volunteers that buy food in bulk and then break it up and distribute it to area towns. I got a box the size of an apple box of meats, fruits, veggies, and a box of mini pizza's for $34.00. I'd guess its about 30 lbs of food. It seems like a pretty good deal.

I finished taxes for a couple of my friends today. I still have to do the FAFSA; think I'll save that for tomorrow because I'm tired of looking at numbers right now. It's sunny and 30 here....looks very pretty outside today. Earlier I turned down the heat and opened some windows for about 25 minutes or so to air the house out......I found by doing this a couple of times during the winter we don't seem to get sick as much as other people do.

Now I'm waiting for my daughter to finish eating; I told her I'd play some cards with her. She's getting tired of watching tv/movies. She even asked me if I'd read to her later on tonight. biggrin

I haven't done that since she was little.
