In addition to being part of the two Hanson performances, Taylor is also scheduled to be part of two panel discussions at SXSW. 

Panel discussion, "The Moment of Truth":

"The Moment of Truth" is one in which artists realize they do not have the star making machinery working for them. In order to sustain a career, artists must assume control of their work and choose partners wisely. In the time of uncertainty, the only thing certain is their talent. Our group of veterans have done it all and have had everything done to them, yet still manage to sustain a successful career through the chaos, while keeping their sanity and humor intact.

That's a good thing.  Taylor's been really busy too.  It's funny the average person would think that both of these guys just fell off the earth or are working at a Starbucks or something.  Maybe they'll do a package tour, and you & I could travel all over the place together as their groupies!  biggrin  Wouldn't that be fun?!

Just saw today that Direct TV is going to show 24 hours worth of live footage from SXSW. Some new up&comers and some well-known bands. smile.gif
I'm hoping they'll show you-know-who!

For those of you who have Direct TV, here is the schedule!  YAAAAYYYYY!!

DIRECTV is taking South By Southwest to the living rooms of music fans around the globe. On March 13, 14, & 15 (4pm to Midnight, CDT) two of Austins hottest live music venues will feature 24 of the hottest bands and artists on the SXSW bill for a daily 8-hour live TV broadcast only on DIRECTVs Channel 101.

All artists will perform a full 40-minute set at either the Lone Star Lounge or Bat Bar, located at the Austin Convention Center. Complimentary tickets will be available to all festival attendees and members of the general public - space permitting.
