Gooooooooooooood Morning FFR!!!!

Just popped in to say hi. I'm meeting a couple of buddies at Starbucks this morning. Drink a Venti Mocha and solve all the worlds problems in a couple of hours.

Got to get some paint for the bedroom. Painting will be on the agenda the rest of the weekend.

Good mornng Ray!  Enjoy your Venti Mocha and the world problem solving with your buddies.  smile   I'm having some coffee and watching the sunrise this morning.  I swear the older I'm getting the less I sleep in on the weekends.  hmm 

Had dinner with my dad last night.  While we were eating, he said I better start looking for a home for him.  I looked at him and asked why, what's wrong?  He said "Well, I went to call you last night and I picked up the phone, punched in your number, and nothing happened.  So I tried it again and I noticed that the tv was acting up.  Something came across the screen saying the channel I was requesting wasn't available.  And again the phone wasn't doing anything. So I tried dialing your number one more time.  That's when I noticed I had the tv remote in my hand and not the telephone!!"  laughing.gif  Yeah, I better start looking for a home to put him in!!!  giggle.gif

Got to do some shopping today then come home and clean.  bleh

goodmorning!
I am at work this morning. when leaving for work, I didn't see the first robin of spring, but I saw my first cardinal of the spring. a lot of birds were chirping for the first time this year- it was awesome!

I bet they were bitchin about the cold. its only 28 degrees.smile

Good day all. Gotta work at the tax office here in a bit. In the meantime, going to take recycling in.

Ray, that sounds like fun. I used to do something similar with some friends of mine before we moved. We'd meet on Saturday mornings and have breakfast at the Farmer's Market before we all went on our way for the weekend. We'd also meet with some of these friends and some other friends on Wednesday nights for "book club." We'd never read anything, we'd just meet at Barnes & Noble or Borders and hang out for a while. Maybe flip through some magazines.

Yep. It's good to stay connected to old friends. I just like getting together early in the morning with a cup of coffee and chat. We did it for 2 1/2 hours this morning. I get home and everyone else is still in bed.

that's a nice idea.
its been at least a year, but every once in awhile I like to get up like at 6:00 on a saturday morning and go get a big breakfast in front of a big diner window and watch the town wake up.smile

Okay..I'm up! I'm up! Actually I was up pretty early this morning. The birds outside were in a great mood!

We are supposed to get REALLY bad thunderstorms today. The Weather Channel said they aren't supposed to start until late this evening, but someone needs to tell the thunderstorm outside my window that.hmm

there's a catholic church by my house that serves friday fish-fries. So I went up there to get a couple for dinner last night. Last night was a too go night only. which was good. the fish was good, but it was served in the grade-school cafeteria, which smelled like that stuff the janitor pours on the floor when kids get sick.evileye

Haha, welcome to my work world JD!!  Schools always smell like that.  bleh 

I had a walleye dinner last night and man was it delicious!!!  Great price too....all you can eat for $7.50.  My hubby stuffed down 15 big pieces of fish along with all his fries.

Wow, I guess not!!  That's sounds like a raw deal.....all you can eat, but it's to go only!

TGIF party last night... got home around 2am. Whiskey n stuff. Just got back from the Blarney Run 5K. 21 minutes. Pretty good. Super cool, the wife ran! Double super cool, my son was there also, running! A family outting. The group I went with did real well.

Going out to a girl's dinner tonight. But one of the group isn't coming, and when I left the tax office, another one had a headache. I hope she feels better before dinner.

Then Brian and I were going to go out for a couple drinks and to just chill before the students come back. But a friend of ours is having his birthday party tonight, so we're going to that instead. I was really looking forward to just the two of us spending a little time together out on the town, but I'd feel bad if I miss the birthday party.

Hey Happy Saturday to you all...though I know I am a little late! It is Sunday here 8.10am, I am at work, it's a beautiful sunny day and I wish I was not here! The wet season has finished...well just about and it is so green and lush, sunny with a wonderful breeze coming off the ocean and I feel like jumping on my quad with my sweetheart and going for a spin down the beach for a picnic which we may do when I finish work.

I hope you all continue to have a lovely day and weekend and I do hope to run into someone around here soon! smile.gif

Ah, Jules, that sounds like the life!

Well, I talked to Brian about our plan tonight, and he surprised me with his answer. He'd rather go out than go to the birthday party too. (The party is likely a get drunk and act like an idiot type of party.) So we've decided to make an appearance and then go out on our own.

Hello I am late. Wow you stayed out til 2 and then ran this morning Squonk!

Glad to see Ray around :)

Hope FF is okay, we had some bad weather here too. Atlanta really got hit yesterday.

We had vacation bible school last night, an Easter breakfast and egg hunt and fair at the church from 9am til 11 this morning, followed by teeball practice from 12:30 til 1:15, then the park, then Target, then came home to rest and then ran to Walmart to get E some bubbles. Everyone had these except her, now she does!
