Most of them I don't like because they're overplayed.

Though I laughed when I saw the first one was Kajagoogoo! Who is it that loves that song? JD? ;)

It wasn't a bad list for me. Some would never make it to my mp3 player due to the overplayed thing

I've always loved it.  True, a bit overplayed at this point!

Well I'm not ashamed to say I like and listen to 80s music.  smile  In fact I like most of the songs on the list, probably because I don't hear them as often now as I did when they first came out.  Probably helps that I listen to a "today's rock" station when I'm in the car and only listen to FFR when I'm here at home.  It keeps the 80s music fresh for me, meaning that I don't get tired of it and I don't hear the same songs being played every time I tune in.  biggrin

Both my kids love Safety Dance and I Ran (So Far Away)......they're always playing these whenever they go into my media player.  Also "I Ran" is a lot of fun to play on Guitar Hero Rock the 80s!!  smile

I'm still quite the fan of eighties music. The only thing I have a "hard time" with, seventies bands that tried to be 80's bands. (Stones, BOC, REO etc) When a little somethin' somethin' is introduced in to the blood stream & eighties music is jammin', I've been known to dance. Excalibur in Chicago, perfect example. Tons of Gin... dance fever.
On the 28th of this month, a pile of our friends that we used to go to Mad Hatter with are going to meet us downtown and then, after the "primer" head out for a night of dancing?

Prince Charming... Adam was so cool!smile

Wish that you guys could come along. It's one of those nights where, we've got a hotel suite in downtown Milwaukee, if we get enough people, maybe a limo. We'll close the place. I only have to dance once to fulfill my obligation. It's a party for my wife's best buddy (former girlfriend of mine & roommate of hers) There will be DOA-Spin me, Depeche for sure, stuff like "Tell Me Why" and that. weirdface

Me too SG!!  I think you and I came from the best era for music (except for the disco crap) even though there has been some really good stuff put out since then.  smile
