Happy Easter! At first I thought we wouldn't be doing anything today, and now we had to cancel one plan for another. It'll be great to see my sister in law today though. I hope they like Bloomington, maybe we can convince them to move down here! ;)

I dunno if I like this ST Patricks Day so close to Easter. Plus the March Madness is on too. I mean its great to have these things, but spread them out a bit more. We've got at least another month up here before I think Wisconsin is in the clear weather-wise. I don't want one last big abyss of cold & snow with not much to look forward to in it, except its end.

Yay . . . Easter Sunday with a full church and we didn't sound terrible.

There was a drama and some other things that had people coming and going from the stage. Somewhere along the way my bass cord got pulled 1/2 way out of my tuner and I didn't have any bass during one song. I found the problem between songs and got it plugged back in after that.

Our pastor presented a very good message today titled "Resurrection: Fact or Fiction". It was a very factual look at the evidence we have regarding the resurrection of Christ.

For us Christians, the resurrection of Christ is pivotal. Did he really die on the cross and come back to life three days later?

If it didn't really happen, it was the biggest hoax of all time . . . netting a huge, false impact on the world. If it did happen, how can anyone deny that Jesus really is the Son of God?

If Jesus really did come back to life, how could have it happened without some sort of supernatural intervention?

Today's sermon was the kind that I really get some good out of. I'm a "show me" kind of guy. I can't just believe something because I choose too, I need to see the evidence. Today, our pastor reminded me of the evidence and If I wanted to argue against it, I would be hard pressed to do so.

That is a great sermon Web. Ours had TEARS streaming down my face. Both my son and hubby had a slip this month with their devil- drugs. Our sermon was about how God is the constant gardener, first with Adam and Eve and then the scene at the tomb. He talked about the 'thing' in the garden that turns us away from what we should be doing. What we know is right- maybe it is drugs, food, gossip, anger, etc... oh I had BIG tears. The devil makes things so tempting and so easy to do the wrong thing! But it was very sobering and I am glad that my family got to experience it.
