Here's Thursday 3/27/08

I think I have a slight cold in my eye. This is the 2nd day I woke up with a crusted eye. My eyes are not red though.
I am a bit on the grumpy side too. You can blame my husband for that. He set me off shortly after getting to work.

Carry on

Did you have a vacation recently? I think it's the 27th.
Tomorrow, TGIF

That's okay Woo, I had to look at the calendar this morning to see what day of the week it was.

I don't know why I didn't do this before: I have a blog that I update infrequently. I've decided to start posting my dreams in it (among the usual other stuff).  Check it out if you're interested: http://mzhartz.livejournal.com

I'm tired too.

I had a slow server warning at 4:30 so I got up with that and blocked the IP that was attacking it. At 5:30, I was just about back to sleep when the dog decided she wanted out . . . and fresh water . . . and more food. I think I finally got back to sleep about 6:15 just in time to get up at 6:45.

Its cloudy, a little rainy and cool which doesn't help the napping desire any.

I was just asked if I might consider teaching tai chi in a few years. That's a huge honor, especially since I've only been doing tai chi for a year and a half. It is a question I was hoping to be asked eventually, but I hadn't expected it to be brought up so soon.

Not master yet.  But will be.  Now I'm being taught with the expectation that I will become a master.

Yeah MZ. That is great news! I am glad that you are sticking with it and enjoying it and now being recognized.

I have been thinking about getting certified to teach aerobics...

Thursday.....one more day to go and then I'm off work for a whole week! clap.gif  It's a dull gray dreary day here, might rain/snow later.  These are the kind of days I wish I could grab a blankie and take a nap.....maybe after I get my youngest girl home from school I can sneak a short one in.

I finished reading one of the books my daughter got from the library on John Lennon and began reading a second one last night.  I swear, there are so many discrepancies between these two biographies, it's unreal!! Dates of many, many things are way off in both books, release of songs/albums aren't right, dates of performances are incorrect, things in his personal life (like when the government tried to deport him) are inaccurate.  It's making my head spin!!  And these are the books my daughter is supposed to be using for her thesis paper on him.  So while she's jotting down notes from each book, I'm digging deeper and looking for more reliable sources to substantiate the information she needs.  What a mess this is turning into!  hmm

Actually I don't have any firm plans G-gal.  It's Spring Break at school so my youngest girl will also have the week off.  We're both just planning on relaxing and bumming around together.  When we wake up in the mornings and decide what we want to do, we'll do it, haha.  I'm really looking forward to the time off...I desperately need it.  smile

Oh I bet! SOmetimes the best plans are no plans - the fun is more vicarious and relaxed that way!

I agree.  smile  My youngest is also suffering from school burn-out right now...she says she's tired of waking up at 6:00 in the morning and spending the day "cramming the brain full of junk" as she puts it, haha.  She hates school so any time off is greatly appreciated by her! laughing.gif

Hahaha! Even students need a break - they get burned out too. I bet it is a welcome breather! Oh I just love the idea of sleeping in...it happens far too infrequently these days.

I know what you mean about waking up early.  They've recently put me on the early flex hours.....6:30 or 7:00 start times so I've been waking up around 5:30 in the morning.  That's kinda early for me, but I'm more of a morning person anyway so I'm adjusting ok.

It's been weird, but I wake up twice almost every morning...once at about 5 and then again no later than 8, and that's on a day I am trying to sleep in. My internal alarm clock is whacked. no.gif

Mine too.  I'm lucky if I sleep past 7:00 on a day off.  My dad says it's an age thing....he's 68 and wakes up every morning around 4:30 and he can't go back to sleep.  He says as the body ages, you need less sleep during the night but more naps in the afternoon.  I think I'm slowly entering that phase right now.  laughing.gif

Yeah, but I miss sleeping in. Somewhere a couple years back I turned into my mom and it stinks. laughing.gif

Oh heck, I turned into my mom back in 1991 when my oldest girl was two. It's so funny, when I was growing up I used to tell myself things like "I'll never tell my kid he/she can't do that" or "when I have kids it will be different." Yeah right! It's a rude awakening the first time you hear youself say the exact same thing you remember you're mom telling you.

Sometimes I'll overhear both of my girls talking, and they'll say "boy, when I have kids, I'll let them do whatever they want". I just smile and think "sure you will."
