Well, as usual the Time/Warner tech support chat was worthless.
But the tech support guy that I got on the phone was GREAT. A test shows some signal loss for the house that is putting things below where they should be.
He has a technician coming out Saturday between 1-3 to figure out the problem, he says the weak signal could definately be causing our problems.
Maybe try putting your cable modem on something high up towards the ceiling. That way, the outbound signal will be going downhill and it will be able to pick up more speed as it leaves your house.
Just an update, I have been trying to turn the stream on every four hours or so, but it always buffers within two minutes.
My entire internet is acting goofy, I'm sure this is in fact a cable problem they'll be able to fix on Saturday. Maybe it's because of the moving stuff around I've been doing.
Even when I go to search for an image on Google, of the 40 images they show only four or five show up right away and then one by one they fill in slowly. That's never happened before.
It's just weird because speed tests show I've got full speed. So, we'll see.
Either way, JD should be fine to do his shows Sunday night.
