12 Days of Christmas

My grandmother told me that the 12 days of Christmas were once celebrated in our family.


It is actually after Christmas, Dec 25.  It is the 12 days beginning December 26th and ending on January 6th.  This is the date that the three wise men found the Christ child, thus the purpose of the gifts.


I would be curious if anyone has been told another story.

I has told the 12 days are before christmas. starting on the 12 and ending on the 24. So don't ask me I'm just a "dumb blonde"
