Lunch, Weather, Your Next Vehicle

Turkey Sandwich.

32 and Sunny.

I'd love to buy a Prius and start getting 60 miles to the gallon for my next vehicle.  As soon as I get a full time job again I think that I'll pick one of those up as a second car.  Having a van is great for hauling stuff, but I definately want better than the 15 - 20 miles per gallon I get.

PB&J sandwich with a glass of milk

It's sunny and 36 out

For my next car I'd love to buy a two-seater sports car.  I know it's not economical as far as gas goes, but after all the years I've carted my family around in a four door sedan, I'd really love to have a sports car again!!  smile

English muffin with peanut butter, some jerky, and juice.

Yesterday was beautiful, but today is gloomy and cool at 39 degrees.

I would really like to switch to a pickup truck and a motorcycle. There are so many times I wish I had a truck, but I don't want a truck as my day to day car because of gas mileage. The motorcycle would have excellent gas mileage, and give me something sporty and fun. Then if I was ever going on a trip, I could put the bike in the back of the truck.

leftover spaghetti and a water

partly sunny and 34. and there is snow on the ground from last night cry

I would like a vehicle that runs. I've had my sports car and got tired of being a lowrider. I already have a truck. I really have no idea.

carnitas, 34 and sunny and I'm not sure on the vehicle. I've got another few years to pay off the current one, and then I want to keep it  5 yrs after the payments are done.

I had left over fried chicken and some gravy over toast.

It is now 47 and sunny.

Vehicle is a tough one not knowing what gas prices will be like 5 years from now. Since we have our new LaCrosse, right now, today, It would probably be a new van. I like my Astro because it is the same size as a full size, just not as long front-to-back. They quit making the Astro so I guess it would be a full size van but they suck on gas.

I like the van because it rides nice, is comfortable to drive, is nice and tall to see over traffic, and its great for hauling stuff (and people) around.

It just sucks on gas.

I figure going from a vehicle that gets less than 20 miles to the gallon to one that gets almost 60 would be like cutting the price of gas by two thirds. That would be like returning to the days of $1.10 a gallon gas.

That REALLY appeals to me. I'm frugal smile.gif

Especially for just going to work or running errands. I don't need such a gas guzzler for that stuff.

When my brother came back from Bermuda, he gave me his Moped that he rode to get around while he was there.  My husband just said the other day that if gas gets any higher this summer, he's going to license it for street use and start riding it back & forth to work.  His big-a** truck is killing us on gas just to get him back and forth to work every day.
