I feel like I was just walking out of work talking about how excited I was that it was the weekend! Now it is almost overcry

A very good friend of mine found out that her husband had stage four cancer about 8 months ago. The doctors gave him six months. He was put in the hospital last night with breathing problems. The doctors say that it doesn't look good. I am going to go up to the hospital and sit with her here in a bit. She is the nicest lady that I have ever met and it is so hard to watch her in this much pain.cry

That's wicked. I was just thinking about my sibblings this a.m. We are all heading towards the big "5 0" So far, so good. We're all healthy.
It's cold out for a change. Thinking of hitting the gym later. Maybe hang out in the hot tub a bit.
I'll probably tune in to JD's show if he's doin' it.

Morning all. It has cooled off considerably- 88 to 58!

Church was good. Will add your friend to my list FF.


Anyway gonna walk this bridge today with my exercise buddy- 2.5 miles one way (we'll walk both ways) :

Sunday already? More like SUNDAY? FINALLY!

This entire last week has been the longest week of my LIFE! I've done nothing but sit around and be sick. I can't believe it's only been five days.

Tomorrow we're FINALLY supposed to get some warm spring weather (low 60's). I am looking SO forward to opening some windows and getting some fresh, clean air in this house.

Jenn, let Mrs. Mack know she and her husband have been in my thoughts and prayers. I hate thinking about anyone going through those last days with cancer cry.gif

Thinking of your friend, FF.

I'd like to do as little as possible today, but I don't see that happening. There's chores around the house to do, and I'll probably do some work setting Brian's stuff up as a business. He sold 2 bracelets yesterday!

Hi ya.

It was a long church day. From practice at 8:00 through the service, potluck, and quarterly business meeting that ended at 3:00, it was a long day.

I took the van down to the shop to have it looked at. Something wacky with the transmission. When in drive, it will stay in first gear and not shift, the speedometer doesn't move, and the antilock brake light is on.

I really hope it is something simple like a vacuum line off or broken or something like that.

It will either be a relatively cheap fix or I'll be shopping for a different van. I'm not putting a new transmission in a $2,500 van with 140,000 miles on it.
