Birthday Bender Over?

Hey Somechick,

How'd the three day birthday celebration go?  I kept an eye on the news and didn't see any stories about big bar fights or arrests for rowdiness.  I guess it was pretty subdued eh?

Holy cow, I guess I was wrong!

It looks like the party was still going into this week!

Sorry for not getting back to you.  Work was crazy yesterday.  The 3 day celebration was alcohol filled and very tiring.  So tiring I couldn't close Wolski's (Only Milwaukee folk can appreciate that).

It was a great time though.  I didn't get arrested!  Woo hoo!

EXCELLENT!

You avoided charges & remain free for another year!!  (which means another year of listening to Freeze-Frame Radio! WOO HOO!)

You know, you mentioned you were getting all that free stuff on your birthday.

When I worked in a regular office I had a pretty good scam going.  I would wait by the soda or snack machine, and when someone would walk up to buy something I'd wait until they were in the middle of their purchase and then say "Hey, aren't you gonna buy me a soda for my birthday?"

NOT ONCE did anyone say no.  Every single time they'd say "Suuuuuure!  It's your birthday huh?" and once they handed me the soda I'd say "Well, not today, but eventually, thanks!"

You'd be amazed how much you can use that!  In fact, you can usually do it to the same person in a few months!

It's particularly easy to use on new people.  You know, they're trying to fit in and want to please everybody.  I never tried it, but you could probably squeeze a whole lunch out of a new person

WOW!!! I wish I could pull that here.  Everyone that's in my office has either been with the company since the dawn of time, but in most instances, everyone knows everyone.  I SO wish I could pull that scam.

Yeah...Thursday night was all you can eat wings and beer, Friday night was a fish fry at a local microbrewery (Thank you Lakefront Brewery), and Saturday was an eclectic evening with Milwaukee's favorite, Pat McCurdy.

It was a weekend to remember!

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah, it's SO nice to have a local listener!

PAT McCURDY!  I have yet to see him in concert, but I have a friend WHO IS ALWAYS trying to get me to go see him.

Well.  I'm glad you had a good B-day party!  I'm also glad you like the station.

By the way, we haven't even scratched the surface of our library yet.  One of these days when I have more time I need to work on building up our request list, we could easily hit 5000 hit singles with what we have in the studio on CD, but I just haven't gotten around to loading them up on the auto-request system yet.

Don't worry. You guys have so many great songs, there's no need to rush.

A Pat virgin!!! Wow...there aren't that many of them out there.  His shows are...unique. Any guy whose main song is "Sex and Beer" has to be a classic.  My favorite song is probably "Screw You" a touching song of love lost.
