What was the last movie you saw?

I watched The Game Plan- with The Rock, last night. It was a typical GOOD Disney movie.

Hm, I haven't had the chance to sit down and watch a movie in a while.

Last movie I watched for the first time, or just last movie I watched?

The last one I watched was probably Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (Tim Burton's version). But we own that one, and when we have people over, that's the one they seem to pick. Oh, I remember we watched Dune and Children of Dune in there somewhere too, but I've seen them both before as well.

The last movie I watched for the first time was probably Sweeney Todd back in December when I took my sister out for her birthday. Then Christmas and Tax Season happened, and I haven't had time to watch a movie. Maybe Brian will want to watch a movie with me Friday night...

It was pretty good movie with a nice message.

Well I suppose I should just be grateful you went with Isaac Hayes.

You COULD have said you heard I looked more like a young Helen Hayes. hmm.gif

Monday night I watched American Gangster and last night I watched I Am Legend.

Over the weekend I watched the newer remake of King Kong. It was on tv. I hadn't seen it before and thought it was pretty good.....lots of action in it and a whole lot better than the original.

Last night we watched "The Jazz Singer" (The Neil Diamond version)

We had never seen it before. Didn't dislike it, but there were such a weird turns in the plot that seemed out of character with the lead. Great music! And I think Neil did a pretty good acting job. And Paul Nicholas ("Cousin Kevin" in "TOMMY") was in it. He's always fun.

The last movie I saw in the theater was Alvin and the Chipmunks.

The last movies we rented were Starsky and Hutch and Free Willie.

I don't remember the last TV movie I watched all the way though.

Monday evening, I watched was Becoming Jane with the beautiful, Anne Hathaway as Jane Austen, and the yummy, James McAvoy as Janes love interest, Tom Lefroy. I guess this one is classified as a chick flick, but Mr. DS watched it and seemed to like it.

She is beautiful - in that classic movie actress way.  And smart, too.  I read an interesting article on her.  She wanted to be a nun when she was a kid.  But her older brother is gay, and as soon as she was old enough to understand that, and understand that the Catholic church was all like "Your brother's going to HEEELLLL!"  she said, "This isn't the religion for me!"  :laughing"

i was about 12 when this movie came out, and my older cousin took me to see it. my mother was fit to be tied when she found out! i think this is about the time i realized that although my mother could get mad enough to spit nails, she wouldn't REALLY kill me (dead).

i don't really remember the movie, just the thrill of doing something i knew i shouldn't be doing ashamed.gif

my children are paying me back 10 fold... blankstare.gif

Did the movie itself scare you?  I think I would've been pretty scared if I saw it at 12 years old.
