Good moring, the sun is shining when I wake up in the morning now which will be nice when I can go vedge on the deck for a while before work.

Hello. Well last night was not very good. Kinda depressing. We did not end up going for a walk because we needed to go to the store and we decided to stop at our old apartment complex for info. If we were to move back, it's back to the 3rd floor and we would have to give up our fish. They only allow up to a 20 gallon tank and it requires a pet fee. We have a 55 and a 30 gallon. The 30 gallon could go but it would be really hard to give up the big babies. This was probably are best shot too. With our credit this will be hard. However we already have payment history with them so that would be a plus. So now we have to hope our rent at the house doesn't go up too much, but we still don't know how we can afford to heat that place next winter.
Dinner did not go very well. It was so windy that it kept blowing out our grill.
The Red Wings forgot how to play hockey and ticked me off by losing again!
I guess I will quit rambling now. I still will go and look at apartments because we may not have any choice but to move to what we can afford. *sigh*

Its raining now and supposed to rain most of the day. I'm ok with that because we can use the moisture with all the dry years we've had.

we haven't heard anything. When we sent our last rent check we sent a letter stating that we were interested in staying another year. As usual we haven't heard anything. But when we had the problem with our last lease getting signed it seemed like he didn't want to honor the time we had already lived there and backdate the lease when it was his fault for not getting us a new lease. We think it was because he wanted to raise the rent then. But since he had been cashing our checks at the old amount he was in a bind. And since then he has had to out in a new furnace. He has never raised it so it is probably due but we just hope it is not too much.

well I had to snap this morning a bit.

there's this knob shine that doesn't keep his dog on a leash that lives on my block. So his dog just runs across the yards and poops everywhere. Drives everyone nuts, especially my landlord.

As I was leaving for work today, I get out the door, and the damn ugly thing jumps up on me. I yelled at the dog and then yelled at the dummy to get his ***** dog off of me and get it on a **** leash. What the hell. Not everyone wants to be jumped on. frickin dolt.

It has mine as being Sioux Falls, across the state. The ISP is from there, so my IP shows that. I bet thats why Sparky thought it was only 70 when it was 83 here!

Finally I make it to the Thursday thread

I spent most of the morning on the phone with Time Warner North Carolina. The previous tenant of the apartment I'm taking had a large balance they never paid so they didn't want to schedule my cable install until they had proof I'm a new tenant.

I have the apartment manager working on it right now.

Still can't quite get over how much cheaper it all is there. The exact same service I paid $110 a month for here will be $68 a month there. PLUS they have more HD Channels that we do and a bunch of cool features not available in WI.

Last week dragged on forever, this week has flown by. It's incredible how different two weeks can seem to move.

Today I got a guy coming at 2 to buy my nice, wood CD/DVD racks. With the chairs gone, that about does it! All I'll have left is a couch that will go in the trash when I leave and a big honkin' heavy 36" TV that I'm hoping to sell but not getting many bites on.

Thought I better pop in and say hi instead of just reading through the other threads.    It's an absolutely beautiful day here today....70 and sunny.  Going to grill some burgers for dinner later on and it's nice enough to sit outside and listen to some music at the same time.    I was over on Project Playlist last night and and was listening to some Eric Johnson and Joe Satriani. Man, I have to get me some cds by each of them......I just love the sound of their guitars!!

Woo, I hope you won't have to move.  Maybe if you called him, he'd tell you if you could renew the lease and/or if your rent was going to increase.

Oh heck no, don't call and ask if he's going to raise it....I just thought maybe in a phone call he might let it slip out if he was going to. 

I sure hope you two catch a break pretty soon. You've been having some hard times lately. 

So far, it has been a nearly perfect day! The kids were great at work and the weather is fantastic!
