SONG CHALLENGE 1 - Rules & VERIFIED Results	Permalink Closed

All right! Here's the contest! We want you to name as many songs as you can that use the title as the VERY FIRST WORDS in the lyrics. For example, Paul McCartney's "Say, Say, Say" starts out with "Say, Say, Say, What you will, but don't play games, with my affections" (Obviously "Say, Say, Say" is no longer in the running). The rules are as follows: This game will run until December 31'st at Midnight CST. Each song title can only be used ONCE, so you need to be aware of what others have already said. In the event of two people using the same song the board keeps track of time of post, so that will be the official judge of who posted first. In order for a song to qualify it MUST have been a hit single in the 70's, 80's or 90's. A hit single is considered to be any song that made the Billboard Hot 100. You MUST be a registered board member in order to play. If you decide to take part in the game, you MUST start your own thread, and post all of your song titles in that thread (ie: Mine would say JEREMY RIGGS - CONTEST 1, yours will be the same, but replace my user name with yours). In the event of a tie, the winner will be determined by who had the most correct entries the day BEFORE the end of the contest, if that is still a tie we'll go a day further back, etc. Rules may be added if they become necessary.
