I'm on the line now to cancel my electric and gas here at the apartment.

The current hold time is 22 to 32 minutes!!! 

I thought Time-Warner was bad when I'd have to wait 10 - 15 minutes, and at least they offer the option of calling you back when an operator is available, no such luck with the electric company no.gif

Yeesh.

Thank goodness I called em' on Skype. I'd hate to waste 30 minutes of cell phone time on hold!

They just took my call, it was only about 18 minutes on hold.  As of the 13'th they'll switch the bill to landlady clap.gif


Now I gotta call Lexington Electric and schedule it to be turned on for me when I get there.

Its kind of like my gas company . . . they don't have to treat you well, where else are you going to go for service . . . the OTHER electric company?

We have a phone company like that. Unless you get digital phone, they are the only phone company in the area. Unless you have perfect credit, they charge you an enormous fee just to turn your phone on!evileye
