Mornin'

I'm getting here. I had some work stuff I had to do this morning so I'm a little slow getting to the forum.

We didn't get the rain predicted yet. They are still saying we may get some today.

It was really weird last night. For a while, counties to the North of us were under a "Winter Weather Watch" and Counties to the South of us were under a "Thunderstorm Warning". I don't think I've ever seen both kinds of warnings/watches in our state at the same time.

Ok so I am not all alone! smile

Late night last night. Had to stay up to watch the Red Wings game. We won and swept Colorado! w00t.gif  Now we are waiting to see if we will play Dallas or San Jose in Round 3!

Oh I got some good stuff at our work rummage sale too! I picked up two lights for my craft room. One that clips to something to give extra light and another one similar that is larger and moves all around. My husband has to fix the last one because the bottom is missing. I also picked up some kitchen molds that I am gonna use for candle molds. Brand new Stanley Cup Red Wings hat from 2002- still had the price tag on it. And the other day we picked up the small patio table set. smile

Good morning everyone!  I have the day off and am ashamed to say that I just woke up about 20 minutes ago.  This is the first time I've slept this late in quite some time so I must've needed it.  smile

Woo, my dad is just as happy with the Wings as you are.  He's hoping they keep right on winning this year.

I sold my kitchen table yesterday evening, now I'm down to a couch & bed (both of which will get thrown out) a computer desk and an exercise bike. THAT'S IT! That's ALL I GOT LEFT!!! clap.gif

i'm here, sorta... listening & requesting fer sure, but really too busy to play... cry.gif the paper fairy left a boat load of lovin' in my basket...

crazy weather around oklahoma last night -- at least 8 tornados -- none in my neck of the woods, but one stayed down for over an hour, mostly over open range in osage county.
tulsa metro very springy today -- sunny, windy & 72 ish...

Good morning! It's gloomy weather here today, but at least it isn't too cold! I've been so busy getting ready for our convention next week, and I'm really excited to do the research project there! My dad is going to take care of the ferrets and cats while I'm away. That pretty much equates to them getting spoiled rotten with treats and playtime. He's an old softy. laughing.gif

My youngest girl has started asking me to get her a Ferret. My aunt and uncle had one when she was little and she loved it. I don't think our dog would be too happy to share her home with one though.

well on my drive in to work, I got caught behind one of them crane trucks that can only do 5 mph. the thing was belching smoke too. there was a guy in a red Dodge Ram truck with a little flashing orange light on it trying to be in charge of the situation. I'm sure that he did not only annoy me, but the crane driver as well. Life is not like a Dodge Ram Truck commercial, Packy.

One of my cats loves the ferrets - they even exchange kisses when the ferrets come out to play! The other cat...I think her thoughts are something akin to "Get me away from those smelly little nuisances!" wink

Hello again.

Busy morning here too. I have a customer's wife who wants to add another website. I told her I'd be happy to help her get it set up once I get the remainder of last year plus everything up to now paid up and current. She claimed she was not aware of any past due amounts. Shortly after, her husband emailed from work asking what the total was again so he could make a PayPal payment today. It sounds like momma told him to get us paid.

Then, coming to the office, I grabbed my backpack and flipped it over my shoulder and somehow managed to rip a good portion of my fingernail off. It was the "snowblower finger" that has the messed up nail anyway, but it still hurts.

My pastor called this morning and asked if we wanted to go over to their house this evening for desserts and games . . . yay! something fun to do tonight.

We are having whipping winds here. My son is supposed to play baseball tonight and, although I feel guilty for it, I'm hoping it gets cancelled. I want to go home, get the kids to bed and open a large bottle of tequila and start mixing it up. Although that sounds really interesting, it actually equates to diet pepsi and tequila, folding laundry, and dancing around my living room doing my best imitation of a cat dying (I sing soooo well.). Just me, the music, and the booze. Oh, and the laundry. smile.gif
