Hello all. I'm feeling run down today.
So my landlord is supposed to be by last night at 7pm wih some potentials. I get no phone call and he doesn't show until 7:30. I brought up that my husband told me that he was suposed to be here at 7:00 and he tells me that was the original time but the potentials called to say that they were running late and would be there at 7:30. So where the heck was MY PHONE CALL?! Then he says "well I'm sorry if this is an inconvience. Errrrr! I wasn't looking at him but it sure sounded like he thought I was being a b*tch. Then as he's showing the place he doesn't remember if the washer and dryers are his or ours! If I wanted those crappy things I guess I coulda claimed them! They questioned about the utility cost and he said that they would have to ask me. He gave me the floor so I looked up in our payment book and told them how high the last bill was. I can tell that they didn't look in the shower because my liner has suction cups and I made sure they were in place and they weren't disturbed. The jerk did bring out the garage door opener for the back garage (the one we were told we could use and never got to) and opened it up and let them look. This last month can not go by fast enough! furious

Good morning.

We survived the track meet. It went from 10:00am - 2:30pm. I thought it was just going to be 1st and 2nd grade, but it was 1st through 5th.

After watching my son run compared to the other kids, it looks like we're either going to have to beef him up to be a lineman, or push the arts. He did alright . . . on the 75 meter dash, he got 4th out of eight in his heat race so I guess that's average. He did well on the shoe kick but not so well on the shuttle race.

It was a really nice day though, and the kids had a good time. smile.gif

Its going to be cooler today but still nice in the mid 60's.

Thats all I can think of for now.

I am into enjoying the second day of my boss being on vacation. No e-mails. No phone calls. Just me and my work. And there is a ton of it.

Woo - take a deep breath. This month will go quickly enough. And then you will have freedom and enjoy your new place.

Web - I hope the boy at least had a good time. Give him some kind of ball to play with. Maybe he needs to take up karate or swimming. Maybe fishing? Who knows. I am in favor of having kids try everything so they can decide what they like to do. But then again, I don't have kids so it doesn't impact me when I say things like that.

just came from filling out the volenteer application for the little radio station by my house. The hr lady seemed nice enough, I am invited to the volenteer orientation next monday at 6 pm. We'll see what its all about and decide from there.smile

I wonder if I am in the clear yet? I figure the first 10 minutes would be the crucial point. But I see that nobody is on any of the phone lines so maybe it is settled and I am staying put.

I'm considering starting up the Weird Newz up again next week, but I'm debating on asking to change the day. Tuesdays are pretty busy, which makes Wednesday mornings hard to meet. So I'm thinking Thursdays maybe?

Wow, lots to digest in all of those posts. My day is going pretty well. I had training all day yesterday. The trainer was good, but what can you say about 8 1/2 hours in a highly lighted fluorescent room when fluorescent bulbs trigger your migraines? Much better today. smile.gif

Man, that's pathetic.

All he's worried about is getting someone in there as fast as possible so he doesn't lose any income.

Any decent landlord with take a month without any tenants to do repairs and clean the place, showing it while he does that.

I'm happy for you getting out of that place! no.gif

I woke up feeling much better today so I went to work.  When I got there, there was a t-shirt on my desk with my name on it.  Guess we now have Staff t-shirts to wear beginning this Friday.  Gee, think they should've got these out at the beginning of the year instead of the end of the year.  Oh the shirts are grey.....why oh why couldn't they be more imaginative and pick a different color.hmm

I know! He is just making me dislike him even more! I called my mother-in-law who is staying with us right now and told her. She of course said they could come because se was there, but that would require me calling him back and I'm not!
