Morning All.

Its going to be a beautiful day in the upper 70s today. Gotta Work.but having dinner with my mother tonight so its PIzza!

I am content now that I have seen the American IDol showdown that I expected.

Also did you know that Dr Who on the BBC and Torchwood are just awesome Shows?

COOKOUT Tomorrow for Memoiral Day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Watch out cause I am bringing the Big Guns! Bring your virtual Swimsuits; and I will take care of everything else

Here but tired. The Red Wings lost last night- so no sweep. It looked like they lost all momentum after a goal that should stand was called a no goal. Crappy refs! Most of the penalties went to us too. Not saying we are perfect but it sure seemed rigged. But everything we got towards the end of the game we deserved because we quit playing. Well Osgood(goalie) didn't he played the whole time. So now all I can do is pray we wake up for the next game. Because if we win this series but are still playing like this, we got no chance in the finals. hmm

OH! I forgot to tell ya that a lady stopped by last night inquiring about the house. She thought my husband was just the person fixing it up. She kept pushing for info so he told her because she asked that he was an absent landlord and to make sure to ask for a electrical inspection if she chooses to look into it further. She could not believe that he had the rent sign out while we were still occupying the place. Hopefully she will look elsewhere. My husband tried to say very little but he didn't want anything on his conscience if we were to read something in the paper about the house burning down.

Sounds like he did the right thing Woo. Personally, I wouldn't be all that eager to rent a place if the landlord was showing it to me while they were still there. I'd be afraid he wouldn't clean it up and do the general maintenance before he handed it over to me. (And it sounds like I'd be right.)

Good day all. I've got a lot to do today. If the internet cooperates (the connection kept dropping yesterday), I should be able to check in here and get my work done.

Hi you guys... I have the internet back at my desk, but I am not going to abuse it, just stopped by to say hi.

Mornin'

The boy came to the realization this morning that this is his last Thursday ever as a 1st grader. Tuesday next week is their last day.

I let my laptop upgrade to service pack 3 last night. So far, I've not found any problems or glitches. I read of problems where SP3 will mess up machines running n a particular AMD processor, but I think they've fixed that since the initial release SP3.

Thursday on.

Um no, luckily you weren't.  But thanks for the mention, I just got that image out of my head.

(For anyone who's lost, Web's looking at my blog where I describe my dreams, but I'll post a link when there's a better post.  Last night's dream ended on a disturbing note.)

Afternoon all.

Our link to the outside world has (and still is) down. They gave us an escape link if we needed it, so I escaped to say hi and what's going on?

Woo - don't worry about your Red Wings as they will be fine. They can win at home on Sunday. I can't say the same thing about my Flyers. They are getting stifled. They are down 3-0 and I am afraid they won't be able to salvage a game. We lost our top defensemen before the series started and then our second guy less than two minutes into the second game. I was kind of hoping we could have a Red Wings/Flyers cup run. I do believe that the Red Wings are the better team.

Oh well, the work day is half over. Work on.

I caught the wrap up of the game last night and thought of you, Woo. I agree that it seems like it's rigged when you have a team that is about to sweep and the refs start making crappy calls. It's like there's a memo from the NHL saying, "Hey, we want to keep making money off of this part of the semi's...keep it going!"

I think we play again on Saturday. They better play better!

I was really hoping for a matchup too Fuzzy! But yeah injuries can really mess you up. Our top scorer in the playoffs is out, but hopefully will be back soon.

exactly! There is one Dallas player that is taking full advantage of the refs blind eyes too. How do you sit on someone and not get a penalty?!!! I really wish McCarty would go bloody that guy up!furious

I didn't catch who the refs were, but I know that I can't stand Carey Frazier. He is the equalizer specialist. He'll call a guy for hooking and then call a penalty on the guy that was hooked and say he took a dive. WTF? It's one way or the other!

And just so you know, we share in your penalty pain. The refs do not like the Flyers. They haven't for years. I think it goes back to the Broad Street bully days. Even though that was the 70s. This year the playoffs have been tough. There have been terrible calls everywhere.

The only one I know for sure that was in was Kelly Sutherland. He was the one who waved off the goal. So we don't get our goal because we were supposedly in the crease when we weren't. But Dallas gets a goal when they were in the crease.

Hi everyone!  It was a busy day at work; had lots of new registrations for school next year to process and started getting records together for the kids that will be moving on to a different school.  I expect to be busy the rest of the month now, but it's ok....down to 3 weeks of school left.  clap.gif

I wonder if windows automatically updated me to SP3 yesterday and then caused an auto reboot, which threw the station off the air for a bit....confused

It may have, JD. If you have your updates set to full auto, that may have been it. I have mine set to auto check but ask before doing it so it doesn't start an update when I'm doing something more important.
