I am able to log onto the broadcasting information to see what our numbers look like. I do so periodically during the weekdays to see how big the daytime audience is. Since yesterday, there has been just a ton of listeners tuned in! Way to go Riggs! 


And to those listeners who read this Thank you SO MUCH for listening!

Yeah, that's what he's saying, but don't worry, people are always leaving and that opens up a slot.  Folks go to lunch & stuff.  If we start selling out on a regular basis we'll look at upping our listener limit.


It's a good problem for us to have

yes- riggs is right. We get thousands of streams daily- there is alot of activity. I imagine it would be awhile before any sellout would last for any sort of extended time period. IT IS a good problem to have, the next step up is a PRO STATION!

I have to say..I've been listening to Freeze Frame since one of the other girls in the office found you, and although her computer can't seem to pick up the station anymore, we still listen in collectively as an office.


I'll have to make sure to log on early and often!

I guess it's a good problem...I just don't want to be in that Purple sedan & not have a parking spot, while watching the guy in the red Convertable park in my freeze-frame...I just can't afford to pay for radio...even good radio like this...

I am usually ALWAYS logged into the station, even tho my sound-card in my computer is fried at work- just to log the hours! I would be more than happy to give up my spot for you!

JD you rock...I wouldn't ask you to give up you slot though....Hey Toast me into that celebration on Sunday...you guys are doing a kick a$$ job. Boards are fun, people are great...don't get too drunk...


BTW JD Have you ever scheduled your return to the morning studio?? That would sell out the slots easily....

I love this station and am really glad that I found it.  All of the other internet radio stations that I listened to before this were not personal.  I want personalized radio without all the garbage that comes with it.  I like knowing who is programming it and knowing their tastes.  I like knowing that I can listen to Underground 80's on Sunday nights from 7 to 8 pm. central standard time and then keep on grooving to Jazz 101 from 8 to midnight central standard time.  Diversity.  Personalization.  Great people on the boards and great DJ's.  No commercials.  That's what it's all about.  Kind of like a cross between Burger King and McDonalds.  I'm having it my way and I'm lovin' it!

Riggs and I were talking about another daytime visit, maybe in a couple of weeks. I've got a 4 hr pass from work to use at my leisure. I'd go in and work like 7-11 and then could be to the studio by 11:30.


I'll let you in a secret- Riggs has began doing his nightly T-10 countdown show again. We were thinking of doing an extended version like we did once before- a T-30 from like noon to 4 on the day I visit. The top 30 hits from this date in 1984,5,6?

I join with all of you in congratulating the Freeze Frame staff and listeners.  But, JD don't scare me, do you mean to say that I may not be able to get on sometimes becasue there are too many people listening?  I bought the VIP thing or whatever it was called, I thought that meant that I could always have access.

With VIP you will NEVER be locked out. Each station has an infinite number of VIP open slots. We still have a ways to go before we are going to sell out the non-vip spots. The station is just recovering from lower numbers from around the holidays. And if we were in danger of becoming one of the "big boys" (don't get me wrong, we are A if not THE major player right now), and becoming a sell out station regularly, we'd HIGHLY consider upping our broadcast package to Pro Station.
