Lunch, Weather, Attire

For lunch, I had chicken in this creamy sauce, with some dijon brussel sprouts and baked apples.  But the last couple apples got some of the cream sauce on them and they weren't very good.  Now I'm snacking on a vegan chocolate chip cookie.

It's beautiful out.  It's 74, and a little bit muggy.  It gives the false impression that summer's coming, but tomorrow it'll be down to 68.  It'll probably still be beautiful, though.

I like the outfit I'm wearing today, it's very summery, but possibly a little over the top for me.  I'm wearing a v-neck tshirt that's got a pink sky looking background with plants and flowers growing up from the bottom and a few beaded accents.  I've also got on a flowy white skirt that has a subtle white on white flower print, and of course, jellies.

Skipping lunch because I had a late breakfast (11 AM) of an egg beater omlette with turkey, mozzerella cheese and onions.

Weather is 89 degrees and sunny.  (what a shock)

I'm wearing a black shirt and blue shorts.

today I went to the grocery store and got a pasiano italiano sammich half. its pretty big, I can't imagine seeing or eating a whole thing.

They also had a batch of carrot and celery sticks washed & packed up for $1.68, so I grabbed one of those. Also I got a gresh fruit cut for $2.55 that has a bunch of strawberries and pineapple in it. I thought that was a pretty good price so got that too.

its 44 degrees, sunny and windy out. holy crite riggs and I aren't going to sound like a broken record anymore when it comes to weather. His old place in milwaukee was maybe 1 1/2 to 2 miles away from here.

today I have on jeans and a harley-davidson long sleeve pull over shirt. Its white and gray pinstripe. G-gal would be so proud.smile

I'm having sweet & sour chicken with rice.  It's ok; it's one of those frozen varieties that I picked up when they were on sale.

Weather is cloudy and cold; it's only 43 right now...brrr!!

Since I was cold when I got home from work, I'm wearing a blue Saginaw Valley State University hoodie, jeans, and heavier socks.  What the heck happened to our warm weather from the weekend??!!

It stayed warm here most of the night so I left the windows open.  When I woke up this morning, it was freezing in the house!!  Tonight we have a good chance for a heavy frost.   hmm

I had a ham sammich, some Club crackers with a spinach dip and a handful of M&M's left over from the monster cookies Mrs Web made on Saturday.

We're still getting light rain, and its 48 degrees.

Since its a cool day, I have on a black sweatshirt and my blue zippered hoodie along with the usual jeans.

You know JD, it's really weird and I'm still trying to figure it out.  I'm VERY aware of humidity, I HATE IT.

I was worried it would be humid down here, but everyone said it's really not most of the time.

Yet, when I got here they made a big deal about mold and it's definately an issue.  If I don't scrub the toilet daily there will be mold forming along the waterline.  I've seen mold in some spots of the house and had to clean it up already.

But yet, when I walk outside I don't think it's humid at all.  It's 91 right now and fairly comfortable because there's no humidity.

However, indoors, at stores, restaurants and even here at the house, you can feel the humidity even with the air running.  That makes no sense does it?  I can't figure it out.

I think the difference is the overall level of humidity.  On average there's more moisture in the air than you're used to.  That doesn't mean there's so much it's uncomfortable, or even all that noticible.  For example, you're probably used to 0-20% humidity on average, where NC might be 20-40% on average...

I had a pork tenderloin sandwich, coleslaw and beans from the Millstone restaurant. We had a lunch meeting today.
It's cold and 39 here with rain, snow in the hills.

I have on a white dress shirt, blue slacks, and a blue, black, white and three shades of gray zig zag tie.

That's a new look for you Queen Bee!

I guess MZ is right, the general humidity is higher, but I don't find the humidity uncomfortable until it hits maybe 50% or so.
