Another JD as a Friend?

hey,
if you are on myspace, come over to my page, and look for a friend of mine named JD. Its the simple fact that we both go by JD on myspace in the first place that he contacted me. Have a look at his page & consider adding him as a friend?

This other JD is in Iraq fighting the war. We don't discuss the details, locations, etc. Here is a guy, when he has a chance, seeking normalicy, a reminder of good things and good people in this world. Just seeking something out of the immediate hell that he must face each day; a connection to the fun we take for granted each day in places like this forum & on myspace.

I invited him to join here on the FFR forum if he can. I think about how much fun, support, happiness we provide for eachother here & how we always welcome new folks into this wonderful place we have created together.

So if circumstances allow, and he chooses, please welcome him here. Or even just shoot him a hello to his myspace page? Thank him, wish him well, try and give him a nice sense of still being connected to the world.

Thanks JD; I think I'll request him as a friend.  smile  I know when my brother was stationed overseas, he was always happy to hear from home whether it was from family or just people that wanted to write and say hello to a serviceman.

he's kinda a guy of few words, but I imagine circumstances there warrant that. like he likes to read more than he can write.

Not a problem JD; I'm familiar with how to write to guys overseas.  Oh that sounds bad doesn't it, but you know what I mean.  smile
