Happy early Birthday Gary!! party.gif

It's chilly here, windy, breezy.... sorta the same. Whatelse is new?
in the high 50s low 60s right now. I'm still wearing sweaters...

I planted yesterday in my yard, and both my BF and I took the house off the market. It's not moving and we've been working things out.... kinda sorta silly but we actually have been getting along and having fun w/ each other.

Off to see the wizards, carry on friends!

Good day all!

I'm having one of those days where there's too much stuff in my head. I have so many thoughts rolling around in there, I'm having trouble focusing on just one thing.

Meaning, I'm probably going to be wordy and random today.

I am so tired! We finished cleaning up the house last night and now we just have the walkthrough left. While we were there the landlord showed up with people to see the place. furious He claimed that our phone was disconnected and he had no other way of getting a hold of us. Yes our main phone is gone but what happened to constantly bugging me at work? Plus my husband said he gave him his cell number. Bunch of crap! I can't wait until everything is finalized and we are done with that jerk!
Then we got to watch the Red Wings play like crap last night. I then finally took a relaxing bath and fell asleep. My husband came in to check on me and that's when I realized I had been sleeping. Once I got settled in I sleep great. But now I have another long day ahead of me. I will be working over tonight and then we have to go take some wood slabs over to a friend. My husband is already thinking about not doing anything Saturday but resting. I'll believe that when I see it.

Have a good one!

Oh I forgot to mention that I heard the new New Kids On The Block single "Summertime" on my ride into work. smile My husband kept smirking because I knew who it was before they said who it was.
I just looked up dates for their tour and they will be in Detroit a day before our anniversary- lol

Did you see where The New Kid's founding manager got 25 years in prison? He's hanging tough now! smile.gif

morning folks! took the day off yesterday... my weekend wasn't long enough. now i have to bust it double time to catch up hmm.gif but i had a great day with my daughter just running around tulsa. the evening wasn't so pleasant tho -- she and jake got in a big knock-down-drag-out because she thinks he is a big jerk (which he's 15, of course he is), and she over reacts to everything.... i think it's time for her to go back to her home now... ashamed.giffrustrated.gif

I don't think Lou was the manager. I always knew Johnny Wright as their manager. But I never really liked Lou. He kinda gave ne the creeps. But I didn't hear of him until BSB and NSYNC

Morning all. Short week for me. Naturally, we had Monday off and I added Friday and Tuesday. But we all know what happens when we are gone from our cubes too long. So I spent yesterday getting things in order. It really wasn't too bad since it is the end of the month. The weather was beautiful all weekend. It has been a little cooler but it is still great. I sure did enjoy my time off. I am at that point where I just needed more than two days off from here.

I didn't know Lou Perleman got jail time!  THAT'S GREAT!

I remember seeing a very unflattering story on him about 15 years ago on 60 Minutes.  He really didn't give a crap about the kids he found and created bands with.

Wikipedia says he managed the Backstreet Boys and N'Sync before each of them realized he was ripping them off and sued him.  I think he went on to work with some teenage solo artists then.

He reminds me of a character actor that I've seen in TV and movies.

right now on my way back from lunch, I was driving behind an ambulance with expired license plate tags. Sometimes little things mean a lot. If they don't keep up with tags, can you be sure there is oxygen in the tank?

I thought it was interesting that ambulances would have regular vehicle license plates too. but a lot of the ambulance companies around here are privately owned companies, so I guess that makes sense.

Wouldn't it stink tho if they got pulled over for expired plates while transporting someone to the hospital....

Wow, it's only Thursday....what a long 4 day week!!  At least it's really nice outside today; sunny and 74 right now.  biggrin

On my way in to work this morning, I heard Motley Crue's new song "The Saints of Los Angeles."  They're playing here July 15th for Crue Fest at DTE.  I'm thinking about going to see them; they're coming with Buckcherry, Sixx am, and Papa Roach.  I can't afford pavillion tickets...those are $85.50 and $65.50, but lawn tickets are $30 and they're running a special on those.....4 lawn tickets for $99.00.  I know 3 other people that would love to go so that'd be a deal!!  smile

I can't remember the last time I paid for lawn seats! I usually get those free at the gas stations. But i can't remember clearly the last time I went either. hmm

The best concert deal I ever got was .38 special and this was back when they were still putting out new stuff. They were at the county fair in Omaha for a "free" concert. The only fee was admission to the fair which was like $2.00/person.

We're planning to go see the OK Sisters again in June. They are going to be out in the park at the same place they were last year when I got those pictures. We are going to plan better this time, leave the kid with grandpa, and go enjoy the whole evening.

Hello everyonesmile

I have hardly been home the last few weeks and I really miss being able to be on here as much as I used to. My mom and dad moved to S.C. several months back, but my mom was offered a temp job here for a few weeks. They haven't sold their house here yet, so it was no problem for her to come back for a little while and work. The problem is that she doesn't like to stay in her house alone at night. I have been staying with her through the week and then my dad comes in on the weekends. I feel like I am never home!  hmm

I am hoping that in the next couple of weeks, when things settle down, I can get "Matters of the Heart" up and running again. I will be at Riggs' Saturday, so hopefully we can sit down and work out the details. clap.gif It will be great to do the show live with Riggs sitting next to me. I might be kidding myself though. He might be curled up in the recliner while I do my shows. I think the trick is to get him a recliner to go in the studio!biggrin

well today was a very stressful day. I am sooo sick of some of the people I work with, tired of trying to make something gold out of their piles of ****.
I am tired.
