It's a chick flick, and has a lot of the typical chick flick elements. So it gets marked down for that. There was a few ways they could've incorporated the cliche outcomes into the story a little better to make them seem less cliche. It was a bit slow at the beginning.
But, it was a pretty good story. By the end, I got into it. I was watching it on the laptop, and Brian was starting to get interested in it too.
The main reason I watched it was because it took place in South Africa. My tai chi teacher is south african, and I was introduced to someone else recently (if you can call it introduced even) from South Africa. I'll admit, I don't know much about South Africa, and parts of the movie were a bit of a culture shock. Some of it could be the movie overdramatising certain aspects though too.
