Ok, I'm new around here so I need updating!

I'm an old time member, however, I am reading the posts quite regularly and I sometimes feel like I'm a bit lost.

It's like a soap opera, you can usually pick up right where you left off around here, even if you haven't been here in a few months.

What I do know is Riggs moved to NC -
Woo Hoo just moved and got a new place -
And Jules got married and is having a baby-

What other news or updates do I need to know to be caught up?confused.gif

Other than all the new members coming back, and Ruby taking a break, I think that's about it isn't it guys?

Do we have any other big story lines going on?

not sure what you know:
Things are going better with "the girl" after everything got hashed out. She switched high schools so she could join the equestrian team.

she will be 16 Aug 4th hmm
Yeah she has riding lessons and has to do the 4H fair and stuff. Her horse has never done this and she expects him to know it all. I just shake me head and think if I were your horse I wouldn't behave either. She can be quite the witch to him. I don't even care for horses but I feel bad for him sometimes. Hopefully it will ease up as her nerves settle. Her horse is kept in the city where we moved to which is one of the reasons we moved.

I'm watching one episode of season three every night before bed.  They're STILL using that line two years after Chevy had left smile.gif

it's just an application you can add to your profile...very easy it's nothing that needs to be downloaded...it's kind of addicting though....
They give you money to buy friends as pets, and if you keep buying and selling you get more money etc..and you can change the "quote" under the name etc....

Well, there you go, JD . . . instead of spending all that time posting here, you could have been buying friends as pets on MySpace.

I'm giving VERY serious thought to deleting my MySpace account. I really don't use it, and when I do it feels like more work than it's worth.

I'm an email kinda guy. I get tired of being told I need to add a new song or change my background or why haven't I blogged, etc.

And God forbid you ever change your friends around. You've got a three day public relations fiasco on your hands explaining to anyone who dropped a notch that you're not mad at them no.gif

I detect a bit of sarcasm here..... okay tell me I'm childish I can take it! I buy friends as pets, I know it's silly!

Lately, I've been more about blogging and Twitter than anything else.

Twitter is kind of like micro-blogging. Your posts are limited to 140 characters, and technically you're supposed to answer the question, "What are you doing," though of course you can post anything you want. I really didn't get into Twitter until I found a whole bunch of local people who were Twittering, and I downloaded a desktop app which makes it easier to keep track of tweets.

Yes, twitter.com

I tried Twitter early, didn't get much out of it, then closed my account. I tried it again recently and am enjoying it much more now that more people are on it.

Twitter is not as interactive as most social networking. Its more "broacdast". It doesn't have all the "friends ranking" stuff either. You "follow" whoever you want to follow.

I found the key to Twitter is finding the right people that are into the same stuff as you. For me, everyone other than Mz, Ghost, Ultimo, are either tech related or are fellow worship team bass players.

They post stuff I'm interested in.
