Today's my hump day.  I really wasn't looking forward to coming in today, knowing the problem that I have waiting for me. 

But, the day is already getting better.  A couple of people from Bloomington that I follow on Twitter are getting married today, and they're going to tweet the whole thing!  That'll be so cool!

Good Morning, we had more bad storms in the night, heavy wind, rain, lightning and thunder. The power went out for about 30 minutes too. This has been an every night occurance lately.

Happy today.

Sorry, Woo. I was chatting with JR last night as he was watching the game so he kept me informed. We both went to bed towards the end of the 2nd OT but I read the bad news this morning. cry.gif

Its going to be a nice day here. Its 62 now, but it feels warmer. The boy has his first baseball game tonight at 6:00.

good morning, everyone! if this was about 5 pm the weather would be perfect... we are already hovering around 80! and although it's a bit muggy, the breeze (wind) is cool. tulsa metro will be in the mid 90's today..

so, late yesterday evening, we were sitting outside dodging mosquitos, and isaac comes to me with a sand pail, sticks it in my face and says, "look mom! if caught a gigantic spider!" let me tell y'all... i don't even remember how i got from the yard to the door! i think i teleported myself! after i was done hyperventilating, and gathered the courage to take a look-see, i saw that he caught not one, but two tarantulas -- bumping uglies!

Hey SG, I was just looking at the weather down there.  It looks like it'll be hot all weekend, huh?  I'm flying down to Tampa and driving to Bradenton on Thursday.

Morning all. The weather is nice now. I have no idea what it is supposed to be like today.

Woo - sorry about the Red Wings. I am pulling for them. I watched some of the first and second period. I told them to win. But, they didn't. My Phillies did hold on and win though. Go Phils!

Glad the day is getting better Mz. Hope it keeps going.

I am just going to go ahead and tune JD out.

Web - I hope the boy has a good time.

Sparky - you can stop hiding under the bed now.

Can you tell that I have no interest in doing my work today?

Vacation and visiting grandparents.  We're flying down Thursday morning, and coming back on Monday.  Too bad I won't be closer to Orlando.

Morning...my day started out less than desirable....first the storms all night....then little A wakes up crying becuase the cat looked at her. blankstare.gif Then throws a fit because her cartoon got over. Then I started getting emails....one from a lady in Colorado wanting a bracelet...asking if she could use paypal nod.gif and then another one from a unknown person asking about duplicating a bracelet in a different stone nod.gif That makes my day off a paid day off biggrin.gif

I think she just mentioned them to a few people on this baby forum website that she used to belong to and she sent them pictures. I think she is working on a myspace page though.

Hi, all.

Woo, I thought of you last night when my husband was complaining about the wings game. He was griping that if they won that it was rigged (because it was the first nationally televised final game). Course now that they lost he said it's rigged, too. There is no pleasing that man when it comes to the wings.

We had storms this morning. Really, really bad ones. I don't like it when it storms when I'm supposed to be in the shower. Show some consideration Mother Nature.

I'm really swamped here, so won't be able to post much. Hope everyone is doing well.

Ally, can I get a bracelet with a penguin on it? smile.gif

apparently not. rigged for the Wings? I think not. no.gif They played poorly in the 1st period, but they woke up. Those goalie interference calls were just ridiculous! Oh and and the one on Datsuk who was being held by his stick making it look bad. angered.gif Certainly not rigged for The Wings. I think someone wanted to cash in on some more games being played.

That's what I told my husband. The NHL is going to try and squeeze more money out of the fans before they let someone win. He's just mad because the wings are in the finals. I should take a picture of his face when they win (knock wood, don't want to jinx them) and post it. He'll be the one with the bulging veins in his neck and forehead. wink.gif

The NHL just babies the Penguins. They think Cindy Crosby needs to be protected. Ever see the linesmen step in to protect Crosby from getting pummeled. It happens. Screw that. Be a man! Play the game. Give me Ovechkin any day.
