It's just been such a long two months Fuzzy. This club is full of huge hitters but they've just not got going.

Now though they're just exploding.

They just better be careful that they don't all hit today and no one hits tomorrow. One year the Phillies had this strange thing. Any time they scored 10 or more runs in one game the next game they were lucky to get 2 runs. I think they have broken that cycle though. Just last week or week before they had 44 runs in three games. They had an explosion. They have been hanging in there too. Won 8 of the last 9. Go Phils!

As much as we would all like to, I don't think too many of us get to the "Businessperson's Specials". That is what they label the afternoon games on getaway day here. An afternoon game during the week in the sunshine. Have to like that. I have taken a half day from work to go to a game or two in my time.

back in 2001 I was working 12 hr 3rd shifts at the beginning of the season, and was able to go to the thursday day games pretty regularly. that was fun. different vibe during the day. more people there to watch the game then get drunk.

When I was running my own business I took advantage of those businessperson's specials smile.gif  I went to almost every getaway day during the week.

Corey Hart drilled a ball to right field and the guy dove for it but missed. After it got past him there was no way they were gonna stop him.

Now we go on the road though. We SUCK on the road :( HOpefully this time will be different.

I'm even MORE worried because we play Colorodo. Seems when we play bad teams we really suck.

The Phillies recently smacked the Rockies around. They are having a tough time. Some of their top guys are hurt. Do the Brewers suck on the road as much as they Braves do?
