rofl.gif That's true! It's been a long time since you've been a good team.

I thought you turned the corner last year, but then it all fell apart again.

I think some neighbors of mine across the street are going off the deep end. THe other night we were out for a walk, and they have a new dog, a high strung boxer. The lady goes "please don't touch the dog!" while its on the public sidewalk. I told her "you make sure the dog doesn't touch us".

but anyways they have a new white stone garden. I think it might look good if they had blooming rose bushes in it. but I'm pretty sure they just have hosta plants in it. these are normally plants people use to surround the base of their house. low maintenance, plentiful, annual. they don't need to be highlighted in a white stone garden....

Gulp, I don't suppose you know what kind of insurance she has? The good thing is the truck is paid for and is a 94 so I wasn't too worried about it. The paint was starting to come off the hood and top anyways.

I use white stones in my flower beds so I don't have to weed as often.  Maybe that's what they're doing.

I hate it when I'm out walking my dog and I meet another dog walker that can't control their dog.  If you can't control it on a leash, you need to get to some obedience classes. furious

yeah that would be kinda strange JD.  Maybe they'll add some color to it by putting in some potted flowers or statuary.  That always looks nice, clean.  smile

I see the weather service just put us under a severe thunderstorm watch until 4:00.  By the looks of the sky today, I'd say there's a good possibility of strong storms later this afternoon.

"High strung Boxer". That describes ours too. With just us at home, she's always listening and alert, but she's pretty easy going, and a big ol' lover dog. She loves affection and just wants to be by us. But have someone come to the door, or even get close to our house and she goes ballistic. If she's inside, and they are out, she barks and acts like she wants to eat them for lunch. Once there is no barrier between her and them, it switches to extreme excitement to go meet them and use her tongue to see what they taste like. I've tried so many different things and the only thing I've found that will get her attention at all is a shock collar. I don't like using it, but if I know there are going to be a bunch of people around, thats the only thing that will work.

Sparky, no, I don't know what kind of insurance she has, but she (was) really fighting them on this. My wife just called while I was typing this. This lady just got her car back in the last day or so. She fought them long enough, they fixed it, but right now she doesn't have insurance on it yet. She's afraid of storms today with no insurance, so since my mother-in-law's garage is empty, we'll let her put it in there if it gets nasty. Even with insurance, we don't want our (9 month old, only 3,000 miles) car getting hailed either so I might have to get them back to work if they decide to get the cars inside.

This same lady . . . she has two kids in high school and she's split from her husband getting ready to file for divorce. She is having money troubles as well as personal troubles.

She and her husband decided to give it one last try, living separately. He promised he would try to do better. She told my wife the other day that she has a mouse in her house that she's seen more than once under her dresser in her bedroom. She got some traps and was putting one under her dresser. As she was doing that, she was like "What the heck is this?". She found a baby monitor that was painted black and taped to the bottom of the dresser. The indicator light was taped over too so it wouldn't shine. It was plugged in and turned on.

Her husband still uses the shop/garage at their place so she went out to the shop, dug around, and sure enough found the receiver. He "bugged" her bedroom! Oh man, she is upset at him. So much for his part of "trying to do better".

i keep on re-injuring my knuckle. just little things- reaching into my pocket for change, using it to push open a door. you'd be suprised how much contact your knuckle makes with the world each day. nothin like a pain and blood trigger to make you recognize.hmm

well today is sammich and salad day here at work. I just found out about the sammich part. I think it was supposed to be just salads- a contest to find who can make the best salad- be it macoroni, green, whatever. the whole  lunchroom area smells like onions.

I get nervous with food contests at work. I don't know everyone's food hygene habits. But then again, if someone actually enters, they are probably very proud of their salad and did a very good job.

I think I will wait for someone I know & trust to go "try this one, its mine".

I wonder what kinda sammiches we get too. Hopefully from Sunflower bakery. I like and trust Sunflower bakery.smile

Hey JR, what did ya think of Ghosthunters last night?? Boy, Grant & Jay were really ticked about the restaurant/bar being rigged!! I watched the next Ghosthunters that came on at 10:00....a re-run of the lighthouse in St. Augustine that they investigated. That was pretty cool!!

That's what we watched together last night! That guy had a lot of nerve setting them up like that! I bet his business will suffer for it.
