Freeze Frame has a world-wide audience 24-7-365. There are listeners in countries that I have never heard of (United Arab Emerities?!?! Boula Hiola?!?! The Island of Mac?!?!).
But by and large, the huge amount of listening is done, undestandably, between the 9-5 work hours across America. But WHO ARE YOU EVENING PEOPLE??? Introduce yourselves- Like regular poster STEVIEB who works the graveyard shift- I am sure he'd like to converse with others listening at the same time that he is!! Lets get the evening folk involved! 3 shifts of listeners tuning into the station, and checking in on the posting board communicating!
I wonder if the huge amount of listeners at night are 3rd shifters like StevieB, or are Europeans waking up and starting their work day???
To know that and who these listeners are would be COOL! That would just be schweet!!

I'd like to chime in and point out that the overnight hours are an audience we REALLY want to cultivate & grow.
The night time listeners could be a HUGE boost to our overall rankings as a station.
EVERY internet station has very low numbers in the overnights, and all those free listener slots just go to waste. 80% of our monthly listener hours come from the 9-5 crowd, but if we could grow the other shifts to the point that 9-5 only accounts for 35 - 40% of the overall numbers we could really become a premiere station on Live365.
We'll try to shake things up in the evenings to make it YOUR station of choice, just give us some suggestions of what you'd like to see & hear during the "off hours"
I love listening at night, it helps me unwind and relax after a stressful day at work. I do work 7am to 4pm but its much easier to post at night. I do check out the forum boards throughout the day however. Hmmm, I will have to give it some thought on how to bring more listeners to the nightshift. ( I hear a song in that, Nightshift ).
aw stevie my bad- you did mention that you did unwind at night to freezeframe and posted then. someone else said they worked the graveyard shift....thanks tho for being a night poster (you can see the braintrust of JD and Riggs trying to tap the nighttime market....) We need more stevieb's!

I guess im one of your night folks, as 9.00am GMT is 3.00am CST I belive, Not sure how to get more listners at night in the US but I will try and get you some UK listeners.
One thing I want to ask is, does listening through I-Tunes still register on your figures, as thats the way I prefer to Listen, but will go back to live365 if thats better for you guys!
No need to worry, listening through iTunes still counts for us. Thanks for thinking of us though!
And you're right, we do count you as one of our night time listeners. For a few months we were trying real hard to get a bunch of listeners from the UK. We ran advertising on the web, and got a lot of hits to the site every night, but not a lot of new listeners. We eventually gave up because it was costing a lot of money and not reaping many rewards.
I just figured that maybe folks in the UK preferred their own music scene, as opposed to American nostalgia stuff like the 80's (probably still a fairly safe assumption right?).
Not sure about that, there is quite a big 80's following over here, just maybe not as big as over there though, Im not sure. Anyway I will try and see if anyone I know fancies having a listen to you guys. Anyway keep up the good work.
I'm a graveyard listner. I work from 7pm to 7am CST. Since I have found this station it has been a hell of alot eaiseir to make it through the early hours of the AM. I work for a minor leauge baseball team and during the off season it is so damn boring here at the stadium.
aw thats right- scott is the graveyard shifter! man, that has got to be one lonely place this time of year! A baseball stadium in winter!?!! At NIGHT!!! Freeze Frame here for you man, Freeze Frame here!

Hey we have not heard from Scott In TX for quite awhile. I hope he is well. But who are our other listeners over-night? I know Ultimo tunes in, but he's got the European clause- when its 4 am CST, its 10 am in England! Who are you night-hawks!!??

Lately I see that I am listening at night and checking the boards more often than during the day. I am running from plant to plant for work and so I don't have the time like I did at the end of last year. I listen more during the day than I check the boards.
