Happy Saturday! Little A took over the entire side of the bed....so I just got up. Its amazing how such a tiny little person can run me out of bed.

Well we've just about had it with our new apt. I think we are just cursed! We have been here 3 wks and have had nothing but problems. The latest is today. We noticed that there was water in our pantry. We called maintenance. He thought that the upstairs air conditioner was leaking into here. While he is looking into that we are hanging pictures and stuff up. I discover that the carpet on the other side our the kitchen counter is wet. I try to figure out where it's coming from and open the hallway closet. There is a huge water bubble and it is leaking all over the place. My husband tools are sitting in about 2 inches of water and are getting ruined. His car battery charger is in there as well. This is the closet that has everything! We never organized it. We now have stuff sitting outside to dry and most likely rust. Maintenance discovered that the upstairs water heater rusted out and is what has been leaking to us. If we had money we were supposed to go north for the weekend. Can you imagine what we would have come back to?!! The reason that the leak is just now starting is because they just moved in last weekend. I physically hurt just from stress. Problems we have had so far: no hot water, dishwasher leaked, tub faucet dripping, pipe missing from heater so fumes coming into the apt, washer broke and now this. We have not even turned in our checklist yet! Everytime we try to finish it something happens. You would never know there would be so many problems by looking at the place. Sorry to ramble, but I think I have lost it. cry

I'm so sorry to hear all this Woo. hmm.gif I really thought you guys would be so happy in your new place after all you went through with the old place. I hope at the very least the new place is going to take care of all these issues for you. I know they won't replace the personal items that may have been damaged, but they should at least be willing to bring everything up to where it should be, unlike your old landlord.

I'll keep you guys in my prayers, and try to relax. I know it's hard. But if you let it stress you out too much you're health will suffer, and you don't need that.

Oh Woo, that just SUCKS!

I'm sorry you guys are having to go through this. All that happiness over getting out of that old place has been killed by all these problems. cry.gif

Woo, I really can't say more than JR said. I hope they can rectify all of this for you soon.

I've had a busy day so far. I had tai chi this morning, and a baby shower this afternoon. I got major kudos for the baby shower though. There's this place where you can make up a whole bunch of dinners for your family and then when you're ready to eat them, you just pop them in the oven. The veggies are all cut up, the sauces are all cooked and mixed, you really just have to put it all in the baggie or foil tray together how you want it. Well, they do baby showers. They provided cake and food and drinks, and we all made dinners for the mom to be. She's now set for 2 weeks after the baby is born. And a few people made some stuff for themselves too. There's even a few things that I could have.
