Oh my, I don't know Dylan.  Can you tell me if Goodman is close to Detroit, Flint, Lansing, etc??  I know it's a small town, just not sure where it is or how far it is from me.  Let me do a little checking, and I'll let you know.  smile

Ok, I just pulled out the state map, and I don't see Goodman on it.  There is a Good Hart, Goodells, Goodison, and Goodrich.  weirdface

Its U.P.   I  think its mid peninsula....had relatives from there.  I know it wasnt too big, I think it was near Segola.

Wow, that's way up there......near Lake Michigan, near Iron Mountain. Iron Mountain is 387 miles from me, and I live in Saginaw. Frankenmuth is about 14 miles from me, so you're talking over 400 miles away.

Actually they are closer to the Wisconsin border than Lake MI.  I just found Sagola.  I still don't see Goodman, but I have a better idea of where it is now.  I've probably been through the area on one of my many camping trips all over in the U.P.  smile

So, is Iron Mountain an actual mountain, a town or the company?

It's the name of a town.  They used to mine iron ore up there and hit a big payload of it when they sunk the shafts in that town.

Oh, I see. Because there is a company called Iron Mountain. It is headquartered here in PA. The specialize in document storage. I thought maybe that mountain had a lot of stored files in it.

laughing.gif I'm sure the only thing it stores now is lots of water in the abandoned mine shafts.

Oh, and bats too.  I just read that there is a cave up there that is home to somewhere between 25,000 to 50,000 hibernating bats.  weirdface

Now that is a lot of bats.

But it is baseball season. While would the bats still be hibernating? I would think the players need them everyday. Maybe thay are just extras and they pull them out of storage when they are running low.

They're keeping them safe for the Detroit Tigers since they don't seem to use them much.  rofl.gif

Seems strange, because weren't the Tigers an early favorite because of all the bats in their lineup?

Actually Fuzzy, I don't know; I don't follow the Tigers, the Lions, or the Red Wings that much.  I'm not a huge sports fan.  I just like ragging on them because history has proven our teams usually suck.  Except the Red Wings; they usually do ok.

Uh yeah. The Red Wings the exception. After all, they are the current Stanley Cup champions. And even if they didn't win some, they have been to the finals quite often.
