By the time I got to the dr. my fever was back down a little and I was feeling better. They did some blood work and said that I'm either just starting or ending an infection but its not a serious, raging infection right now.

She said that there is also a virus going around that causes the same symptoms that is being transmitted through food handling. So, she really doesn't know either what I have going on.

They were also concerned about my blood pressure. It was 140/92. I've never had trouble with blood pressure before so they want me to go back in a week and check it again to see if it was just this stuff. My heart has been racing for two days with this fever, I think its probably just that.

The roofers almost have one side all stripped off and will then get the tar paper put on so it will stay dry in case it rains tonight.

Glad you are feeling better Web. I'll bet that your blood pressure is up due to your fever. It happens. I am not a doctor. And I don't play one on tv (or in the forum). But I do have a friend that is a doctor. And I know stuff.

Get better Web!

Well I feel like everytime I start to perk up, I get kicked back down. I will not gripe specifically and I will say that at least it is not another apt issue. On that note, I can see that the carpets have been cleaned and they have a big blower running trying to dry the areas. They have also cut out part of the drywall.

If we hadn't drank all the beer last night I might be cracking one open right now. I may have to see what else I have. My teeth and my head hurt from stressing. I also postponed my jury duty until September. I have enough going on right now.

Hmmm I Mike's Hard Lemonade is gonna have to do for now. Not my favorite but I'm too lazy to mix anything right now. At least I'm honest.

not doing too bad at the moment. There is only 1 more left over in the fridge I think. I just prefer other Mike Flavors instead.

Busy day here today.  I went to the library this morning and signed up for the summer reading program.  Adults have to have 40 hours of documented reading time (not a problem, can do that easily) and once completed, I'll get a cooler, t-shirt, canvas bookbag, and a water bottle.  Then I went to Walmart to pick up converter boxes for 2 of our tvs before the coupons expired.  Got back home and started doing the laundry.  In between folding clothes I got three closets and 2 junk drawers cleaned out.  After dinner, a friend of mine called and invited me to join her for coffee and dessert.....she's having man problems right now and needed to vent.  I'm tired now and need a little "me" time, ha.

I love it Mz!  It originally began here to help keep kids reading during the summer when they are off on break.  The schools were saying kids were losing too much of their reading abilities over the 3 months of summer vacation, so they teamed up with the libraries and came up with this program.  Over the years, the library got sponsors from different places to help offset the cost for prizes, and they were then able to offer it to everyone.

They've broken it down to kids under 16, young adults, and adults....they each have to read a certain amount of hours and document those hours, and they each have different prizes they receive for completing the program.  For the kids, they also offer other incentives to get them into the library.  They sponsor magic shows, have zookeepers bring in small animals, teddy bear parties, and just last week they had a Guitar Hero competition and Dance, Dance, Revolultion competition.  They had food, drinks, and prizes for the kids.

It's a really great program and everyone that participates in it loves it.  smile
