Does a 1982 Chevy Malibu Station Wagon count? That was the family car forever. Then I had it for another five years before I took it out to the desert and had it buried.

Sparky, My Dad had a 98 Chevy Malibu. It's a four cyclinder and has about 140,000 miles on it, but it's still running. My sister has it now.

Any specific questions on it?

Has it had many or any problems, AC said her co-workers rides really rough?

Four cyclinders are usually a bit rough and don't have much pick up.

Well, I drove it for a few weeks a couple months ago when my sister was out of town.

I was quite impressed with what a smooth ride it was. Maybe the one AC's co-worker has needed shocks or something?

The car has been pretty reliable for them, although now it's starting to need repairs every four to six months, just because of age.

In general though, I thought it handled nice, was a smooth, comfortable ride. Pretty roomy too.

I would probably buy Erica's if she were selling it and use it as a second car.

That's exactly like my Dad's, even the same color. But like I said, his is a 98.

You know, there's may be a 6 cylinder too. When I asked my sister she didn't know and I assumed it was four. It had pretty good pick up though, so I bet it's a six.
