Journey on tour 2008!

This month they are in UK and next month they are coming to USA, anyone planning on going?
I would love to see them again! I saw them a half dozen times when I was a teenager.

I saw them a couple of years ago when I won tickets from a local radio station. It was a pretty good show but just not the same without Steve Perry, that and I think there is only one "original member" left in the whole band. Steve Augeri kept going behind the curtain after every song, I think he was doing shots or something.

I played the grooves off the Infinity album...one of my favorites still.  If they come to Wisconsin I wouldn't mnind catching them...Although I would miss Steve Perry.

I bought their new CD and I was impressed with the new singer. In some of the songs, he sounded A LOT like Steve Perry.

Just went to their webpage listened to their songs w/o Steve Perry, he does sound a lot like him. However I don't think he looks like him.

There are actuall 2 original members - Ross Valory & Neal Schon.

Wow, I didn't even know Augeri left! This guy looks like he was conceived to a Journey song!

has anyone listened to the new album...it's classic Journey! Disc one is all new stuff (we are playing one song on FFR) and most of the cuts are real good....Disc 2 is the new band redoing some of the band's classic hits. My wife got in the car and said she really liked this old Journey stuff..I laughed and told her it was some Phillipino guy...... Actually for $11.88 (only at WalMart and Sam's Club) it's a great album...has a third dic (DVD - that I haven't watched yet)

Oh Yeah - my Mark's going to see Journey on Sunday night...he's got loads of gigs just at the minute. This week he has seen Blue Oyster Cult, Joe Jackson and one of his more local/less famous favourites, a folkie woman called Christine Collister
