The last time I had to replace an element, I bought a special "wrench" from the hardware store. It was a cheap piece of crap, but it worked. Well, today, I was trying to use that to get the old element out and the element was stuck pretty good. It was stronger than the wrench. So, I went to the farm store and bought a real 1-1/2" socket. It was a 3/4" drive which I don't have any tools that big so I had to also buy a breaker bar. $30 later, I had the tool I needed and it worked.
The new element is in, the water heater is full again, and its heating back up as I write this.
i'm not sure how ear candles work, but my daughter uses them occasionally and swears by them...
Really now...this is just not something I would be laying down relaxed while having it done... like this lady...... only inches away from my hair catching on fire... NO THANX!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hello all! I am in SC right now visiting with my parents for the week. They have internet!!! We weren't going to leave until 2:30 today to get down here, but we left much earlier. We are going to the beach tomorrow and Wednesday.
