I didn't even grasp that it was Tues this morning. Tues is supposed to be weigh in day but we both forgot. So now I need to remember to do that tomorrow morning. I don't expect much but it has been routine. I slept pretty good, went to bed early. But train blared its horn at 3:45am and we had the windows open. I went back to sleep but I don't think I slept as well. I'm mad at myself for the second day for not grabbing the sole Mt Dew that's in the fridge. I could really use some caffeine.

I'm losing track of the days since I've been off work....if it wasn't for the daily thread, I wouldn't know what day of the week it is.   

I have to take my oldest girl to the doctor this afternoon....she's going to see a specialist concerning the spider bite she got last year.  She's taken so much medicine since it happened, but the dang thing still isn't going away.  The doctors are at a loss as to what's going on with it so they're sending her to an oncologist. Not sure why they're recommending a cancer doctor.  She's just hoping this guy can help her.....she's tired of going to different doctors and having them prescribe meds that aren't helping the dang thing. 

I haven't seen Rush play live in a long, long time.  Are all of the original members still in the band??  Hope you have a great time tonight JD!!

Good Morning, it's my Monday today so I'm going to be all messed up. We had a good weekend of camping, we even had a heck of a thunderstorm and rain Sunday night. It's a lot louder when you are in a tent!

If anyone is interested, I got our music from Sunday put on the church's website so our team can hear what we did. I got a new mic that is made for drums and I put under the congas. They are picking up much better now on that mic.

We did one more song that is new to us. We just played along with, and under the CD on that one so I didn't record it.

Anyway, here's the songs:

Let The Praises Ring: This is only the 2nd time we've played this one. I think it came out pretty well for being new. I really like this song. Lincoln Brewster is an awesome guitar player. We don't do the song justice, but its fun.

Holy Is The Lord: We've done this one a lot.

Jesus Paid It All: This is a newer version of an old hymn. This was the first time we've played this version, but it is pretty slow and simple so it came out ok.

Life Of Praise: We've also played this one a lot, but I don't know what happened. It started out REALLY rough but then got a little better later. I don't know if we couldn't hear the congas or the congas couldn't hear us, but something was definitely wrong. It sounds like we're the "Church of the rhythmically challenged".

Any who, if you're interested, listen to them. If not, don't.
