I'm reluctantly up. Tai chi club starts around 9:15 and goes until noon. I'm really tempted to sleep instead. But I won't, I have my coffee in hand.
After that, I have no exact plans this weekend. Which means I'll actually get to do the typical weekend stuff: buy groceries, clean house, etc. I know there's a party today, but no one invited us. That's fine, it's kind of nice not to have anything planned. Maybe I can get some stuff done.
good day eh? Rush was great last night. Also saw Terrence Simion, who won a grammy for best zydeko act- he had it up on stage with him to show the crowd "Lookee what I done did git...." and then saw Rusted Root. All were really great.
Today I am meeting up with some friends for lunch and then this afternoon there is a big Buddhist gathering I'm attending. I designed the pamphlets for it. It should be very good.

Ah, HERE is the Saturday thread. Man, you people need to mark these things better.
I got started on my Saturday server routine. Right now, I'm copying about 20 gigs of backup files from Phoenix to New York. That will take a few hours to finish.
Hopefully the dew will dry off the grass so I can get the lawn mowed (again).
When our worship leader calls and lets me know he's ready, I'll go to the church and help him set everything back up since we had to take it all down for VBS.
Its food day today too. We'll go pick up our order for this month and place next month's order.
I've been sleeping SOOOO much better this week, getting a solid 7 hours a night. Now for some reason last night I slept nearly 12 hours! I hope that doesn't screw me up again
My dog appears to be sick today. She's not throwing up or anything, but she's kind of staying away from me, just wants to be off by herself or at least not right near me. For example, normally if I sit in the recliner she's wanting up on my lap, today she just lies on the floor a few feet from the recliner. This is how she acts when she's not feeling well.
Hopefully it's no big deal. She's been drinking her water, but she hasn't been eating much lately. There might be a trip to the vet in her near future.
Well, not much else to report. The Brewers lost another heartbreaker last night when they had a chance to move into a tie for second place. ESPN said last year we led all of baseball in losing games we were leading after 7 innings. This year we're leading the pack again. The club just has no finish
Hello all. I'm at home. My husband went to the girl's horse event but made it clear that I should not feel obligated to go. He has started to cut ties with her because she's back to not caring about us again. He said that he would continue to help her with the horse stuff though. Technically he didn't even have to go today. Her new " Dad" got layed off so he can cart the horse around.
I'm not sure what I am gonna do today. I'm doing some laundry right now and I need to eat some breakfast.

Maybe tune into FFR? And start planning your dance show?
By the way, I can't seem to find the mic I KNOW I packed it for the move, but now I can't seem to find it anywhere. I'll keep lookin' though. We need a show outta Michigan!
I think my dog is fine. I was kind of watching her the last hour and noticed when she'd try to eat she'd jump back everytime she took a peice of food. I think somewhere along the line that bowl spooked her. It's on a tile floor and even with food in it the bowl is pretty light (she's a 5 lb dog, so there's not a lot of food and water in it). Everytime she'd take some food the bowl would slide a little and make a scratching noise and she'd jump.
I moved it to the carpet and she ate all the food, drank all the water and now she wants to play
The grass is cut down for another time. It wasn't too bad today, its 69 with a cool wind blowing. I also dumped a "Security Now" podcast to my phone and listened to that while following the mower around. That at least gave my brain something to do.
I like those isolator ear phones for mowing. Its nice to have the outside noise blocked so I can keep the volume down on the player.
Mark at work all day and night and kids away at their dad's... Mark's working tomorrow too and then on Monday he's off to France & Belgium with his mum and dad. We have tracked down his mum's grandfather's grave. He was at the Battle of the Somme in WW1. He was injured in battle but made it to a hospital in Ytres in France where he later died. They are looking around the general area (1st July marks the anniversary of the start of the Somme campaign) and also going to lay a wreath at his grave. He will not be back until the following Saturday...so it's me and the girls all week... But on Wednesday it is Presentation Evening at school and both girls are getting awards for attainment etc and their dad is coming over for it too...I guess we'll all grab a bite to eat together..me and the ex - wow. I'm glad we get on sufficiently to do that for the girls

yeah I guess I can tune in for a bit. I need to do some cleaning. I don't want to be in front of the computer all day without getting something else done. My hubby is already in a bad mood. If he's gotta do something he doesn't want to do I guess I should join in- lol
You better find the mic or forget about the show. I haven't forgotten but I wish I could say the place was ready for me to start doing it. But with all the trouble we have had, it is still not all organized. Especially after the flood. Everything we put away had to be moved again. I feel like we are going backwards. But hopefully now it will start to get better.

www.LiquidBrainoCreations.com is done!! It took me forever, but it's so nice to have a presentable website. I'll always have more products to put up, but the rest should be pretty easy now that I have the basic format. He has twice as many items done as what's on the site.
Good Saturday Everyone, my day started off by house cleaning and play time with Little A. Then at noon it was off to buy my new used car. After a month of looking I got a good deal from a private owner on a 2001 Subaru Forester AWD.
Mine is Gray and black though.
