RE: Things That Make You Go "Hmmm..."

hmmm.... according to oklahoma state law, it is illegal to take a bite out of someone else's hamburger.

it is against the law to get a fish drunk...

it is illegal for a female to cut her own hair without a license from the state...

in cushing, oklahoma, it is against the law to drink beer in your underwear.  violaters can be ticketed.  (i always wondered why my ex-husband, who was from cushing used to drink beer naked.  i just thought it was because he was schizo).

Working on a trouble report with another carrier... they send the call to us in theory... the call works from my switch to the distant end, but not from the other carrier's switch to my switch to the distant end. Gee... I wonder where the problem is?  Where could it be? Why are you asking me to look at my switch?

Religions are supposed to be about God, love, peace and humility. But in the real world they are about rich television preachers & the riches of the vatican, disdain for others not a part of that religion, war, and money.

Why oh why aren't babies smarter???

The grandson (now almost 9 months old) is pulling up on everything.  He gets all balanced & then he just lets go like he's gonna just know how to go.  He falls.  He gets hurt.  He cries.  He turns around & does it again and again and again.  Um...hello.

RE: Things That Make You Go "Hmmm..."

just opened up a new pack of saran wrap this evening to wrap up the left overs. And its rose colored. Say so too, on the box, guess I didn't see that when I bought it. By why colored saran wrap? why rose?

I'd prefer clear so I can see what's wrapped up inside?

when I got up to the car at the stop light, it was a white girl driving it?

What the hell happened? Why'd he go off the air so fast?

I know he was getting the ratings at first, he must have started to tank after awhile.

Arsenio changed a lot from the beginning.  He stopped wearing the suits, and started wearing hip-hop type of clothes.  And talking more ethnically.  And not booking rock bands so much...  But for a while there, the show was GREAT!  I have a lot of bands taped from that show - Scorpions, etc.

I like my bagels. I like my bagels with mounds of whipped cream cheese on em'.

Problem is, whipped cream cheese is horribly high in fat grams, so I rarely get it.

Now here's the thing that makes me go HMMM...

Why is it that even though there are several versions of FAT FREE / LOW CAL cream cheese there is not ONE fat free / low cal whipped cream cheese on the market?

Do we not have the technical capabilities to whip fat free cream cheese? Does it resist somehow? Could I whip normal fat free cream cheese at home? How would I do this?

Hmmm...

I would imagine you could just put it in a bowl and whip it with a hand mixer.

Regular cream cheese is pretty dense, do you think I need to add something to it to make it fluff up?

Nah, just break it apart a little. Your beaters should be able to get through it.

why do they always send the office idiot out to order lunch at high noon so that it becomes a 15 minute affair standing in line behind this person as they try and figure out the intricacies of ordering food?
