you guys...

...post a lot.

I've never been to a forum with so much activity throughout the day. Don't you all have jobs!?

I kid. I'm not allowed to venture outside the realm of our online order system at work. :( Can't check personal e-mail, can't even check the freakin' weather without getting a dirty look. Boss reads all e-mails I get on my work account... the 'man' has his eye on me constantly. I hate being micromanaged. Luckily my days in the print industry are numbered, I start a new job in a whole new world soon...

Sorry, just had to vent. Total lack of fun going on over here today.. furious.gif

I know what you mean D.

Most forums you post something and wait a day or two for a response.

On our forum people check in almost hourly whether they're at home OR work. It's kind of cool.

Hey that's cool! No more interning at the little community channels for you huh?

Is that something you went to school for? I imagine you'd have to.

School? Nah! Actually my experience at the channel was enough to get me in.
And now I know where I remember your name from! You helped with the awesome audio track for the bulletin board I put together. I'm really sorry it was pulled. My boss insisted he heard cursing, I know that's a lie. He wasn't one for change... he much rather would have the canned elevator music and avoid any possible trouble from our six or seven viewers.

Haha yeah, they had me out the door before anyone else found out what was going on. I'm sure there would have been a riot of mass proportions had they known what was going down in that office.. Oh well.

Man. I WISH it was Telemundo!

No problem on the soundtrack D$. It was neat while it lasted. My family was really excited about it.

You're right, there's no way we swore. Heck, we toned down the sound of the music too. It was only a step above elevator music! The guy was right that we mentioned MySpace, but yeesh, who knew? Not like every kid in America isn't already aware of the existence of MySpace, and all we said was that some of the artists we were playing were from MySpace.

It was evident pretty early on that the guy was just looking for an excuse not to use us.

Alright, guys, I think we're ready to lay this first track down. By the way, my name is Bruce Dickinson. Yes, the Bruce Dickinson. And I gotta tell you: fellas.. you have got what appears to be a dynamite sound!

Oh.. and nice to meet you!!! smile.gif

Yeah. I was really, really pushing it to get you guys on TV. I was just sick of hearing that music in the background in my little office area all day! Oh well, it was neat the few days it lasted!

Easy, guys.. I put my pants on just like the rest of you - one leg at a time. Except, once my pants are on, I make gold records.

Hey, that's cool another TV guy. Hey D$ do you do any freelance work too? I was a part time production assistant at a local station a few years ago. I ran a studio camera for the late newscast. I still do some freelance camera work from time to time, shooting sports, Pacers, Colts, Indianapolis Motor Speedway, college and high school...wherever. I'm a part-time video-whore!!!

We do, but we do our best to only do them about 7 hours a day, giving us an hour (spaced over the day) to play.

Good luck on the new job.
