well my husband is gonna do his best to be able to take next week off with me. The boss put unbelievable stipulations on his getting the time off. He has to get the store ready to open. We just acquired the building yesterday. Now he doesn't have to the repairs- that's the maintenance guy, but he has to design a bunch of stuff so that our consumers can legally work in there. And the instructions he got were crap- which he didn't get until 3:30 yesterday! He gave me the paper and told me to read it. I read and didn't think anything of it. I just said that I didn't understand it. That was his whole point. We were supposed to leave for up north right after a quick trip home after work. But now we will be lucky to leave by 10pm.

It really is! I was talking to a manager yesterday before we left and indicated that my supervisor would be trying to enter some of my data for me while I was gone. The boss piped in and asked "who's gonna be doing it?" She was clearly not happy about it. I'm sorry my time off has been on the calender since January! You guys had plenty of time to prepare! My husbadn told me that he didn't care what she wanted or thought.

Bummer Woo. Why must management be that way? I don't understand. Just because we report up, they feel they are more important than we are. It is the same everywhere. Wait until we take over the world.

Good Morning, It's going to be an easy day for me. We decided it was casual Thursday today since we close at noon. At 11:00 I'm gonna fire up the grill (yes we have a huge stainless steel grill) and cook some brats and Kraut, tater salad, coleslaw, beans, veggies and dip etc.
Then later we are going up to watch the fireworks at Mt. Rushmore and maybe meet up with TG.

Happy Thursday all!! I'm heading up to our cabin later on today for 2 weeks. I plan on doing some fishing, boating, swimming, and soaking up some sun. I can't wait to get out of the city for a while!

I agree with Mz today will be the longest day ever! Maybe we'll close up at noon if not a lot is happening. I doubt it tho. Today is the day the panic squad people take over. The OMG I NEED THIS BY 4 pm, and its 3:58... those who operate in a constant panic mode because they're not good at their jobs, their doormats for their clients, they make promises they don't know that they can keep, they want everyone to panic or care just as much as they do about their project, they're ok with just blatantly interrupting people in mid-conversation or mid-project.....the day before the holiday panic squad. I think I spend 1/4 of my time listening to them and then making them squirm and panic that much more....

I'm not good at riddles either. I was not saying Match because of the "I am your equal" line. I was taking it too literal. Then when I re-read the line about "I can be struck or played" I realized it is the word being used in all it's forms. not so much the actual item.
