So...........

I will probably miss someone...but...

Darlene- how is your bro and you have internet at work now?

JR- the NC life?

MZ- your job and Brian's job status?

Fuzzy- the friend?

Ally and Sparky- little A?

Web- church, Mrs Web and little L?

Ultimo- work? house? girlfriend?

Pip- your summer and your girls?

Lady Strange- your social life!?

Dylan- life in general?

SG- how is your summer going?

Cheese- little Cheese and Chicago in general?

Ggal- your job still secure?

Jules- um something about a baby or two or three?

Ghost- your job, girls and hubby?

Squonk- survived another birthday huh? Your art??

TN- email me anytime- asisson@comcast.net... I do not have a recent email address for you.

I am the same. My thyroid is all better for now. I am still exercising everyday and eating healthy. I was never suicidal, just had no interest in things. Then work got real busy and I was job hunting. But everything seems to be better. Emily is GREAT! I love being her mom is all I can say. The boy is the same! The hubby and I are good:) We went to see Pearl jam a few weeks ago, they were good. I am going to Myrtle Beach in a month to see my best friend from high school, whom I have not seen in 21 years! I will be gone for a week.

That is all for now- updates on the rest please. And thanks for always being here! I am the prodigal daughter I guess!

JD- your Sunday nights?

Woo- your new place and your hubby's work situation?

Ruby. NC Life is good. I really, REALLY love it here.

Now that Jenn & I have called it quits I will move back to Milwaukee no later than May of 09, but I'm enjoying my time here and could see myself retiring here one day. It's beautiful. Just beautiful.

Sunday nights are still on. always kinda sporadic in the summer due to other fun things, but I still enjoy doing it. Its like "my" time to just grab a bottle of wine, sit down, relax, hang here, and play the music I love.smile

Permanent Vacation

My job is good. Brian got a call about a temporary job on Thursday, and he's going to call back and accept it today. It's just until the end of August, helping the property get ready for all the new tenants. Everything around here revolves around the school year, so August is a huge moving month. Hopefully it'll turn into something permanent, but even if not, it's great experience. And it's a paycheck for a little while.

We get alot of the inmates from the high profile cases...

Some are cooperative, some want to be challenging...

but my favorite story was the midget pimp with bladder control issues that had to wear a diaper....looked like baby new year with 5 o clock shadow

I think the NC heat will have a positive effect on me.  I won't gripe so much once I get back to 'sconsin smile.gif  I used to think 90 was hot.  Now I know 100+ is HOT and 90 is comfy.  In Wisconsin we'll get maybe 5 - 10 days a year that touch 90 or above.  Here in NC it's pretty much a daily occurance from May through August it looks like.

I was so excited about the electric bill Ruby.  I ran the air all month non-stop and it was only $66.  My summer electric bill in WI would be $125 to $150 a month!  Then when you add NO HEATING bill in winter.  What a deal!  Again, my heating bill in WI would be $150 or so, and they'e saying this year that could nearly DOUBLE!

I'll tell ya, I love EVERYTHING about this place except the fact it's not home hmm.gif  If my family were here I could be very, very happy.

The car is running better, even though I never had it looked at.  It still dies now and then, but it's not happening nearly as much.  So we'll see.  Today I drove around for about 45 minutes and it never died once.

I just read where the price of natural gas has gone up 82% in the last year. I can't imagine how much higher gas heating bills will be this winter....so glad I have radiators.

I don't mean to rub this in, but my only utility* bill (besides phone) is electric. And that's maybe $20 a month most months, $28 if I run the air conditoner for a few days.

We're about the same here.

The boy just got done with baseball. He's excited about going into 2nd grade this year. We have two elementary schools split by age and at his school, the 2nd graders are the old kids so he gets to be a big shot this year.

Mrs Web is busy, busy, busy. Her mom's house sold so we have until August 1st to get it emptied out. Rather than just moving stuff and then trying to "get around to" sorting everything later, she's trying to divide, distribute, and have the stuff go to its final home the first time. Her brother has been civil (he's not always) so that helps get it done.

I'm still doing my same things at church and its going good. I'm playing bass every weekend, maintaining the website, etc. VBS was great this year. They used the "Power Lab" materials and had almost 100 different kids over the course of the week which is excellent.

For the most part, its same-o-same.
